I don't think that I have ever heard of a church (or for that matter, anything else) being called "conservative mainline."
The apostate church...this was foretold..
I'm Presbyterian PCA. I have been ever since I was led to the Lord by Steve Brown, now of: KEY LIFE. He once told me that the PCA splintered from the USA over politics. That PCA wanted to create a Church that taught that the Bible is the Living Word of God. At the time USA wanted to push gun control issues. Now they have extended that into the rest of political liberalism. The Bible says that those who Bless Israel shall be Blessed and those who curse Israel shall be themselves cursed. I always wondered why our nation was propelled above all others to hold the place we now hold and how it is slipping away as we ourselves slip into the pit of condemning Israel.
The PCUSA were co-sponsors of the so-called March for Womens Lives (pro-abortion).

The PCUSA church has aligned themselves with other diabolical organizations such as the American Civil Liberties Union, Black Women's Health Imperative, Feminist Majority, NARAL Pro-Choice America, National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, National Organization for Women, Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
In addition to abortion, they have also embraced homosexuality, feminism, the redefinition of marriage, gun prohibition, co-habitation and divorce. They now worship, not from the Bible, but from a gender neutral so-called "Book of Worship" of their own making.
I did some pro-bono work for them and can tell you firsthand that the Holy Spirit has forsaken them, as they have forsaken the Lord thy God.

LOL je suis une blessure de selle d'homme de la monte dans les Alpes
de trinité sur un voyage de désert. Comment allez-vous ?
Rest assured God will divest from the Prezs.
He may already have.
PCUSA = mainstream liberal Prosestants
PCA = conservative, bibically-oriented Protestants.
One example is Coral Ridge (D. James Kennedy) on TV in many markets on Sundays.
And R. C. Sproul, who has a radio show "Renewing Your Mind" on lots of Christian radio station.
Kennedy and Sproul are great.
Je suis fini avec le Francais.
What an adventure (if I read you correctly). Very glad you made it down the mountain (if I read you correctly). Hope your aching bod heals quickly (if I read you correctly).
You missed DrSteve and Canticle_of_Deborah getting banned/suspended, and I think you missed the explosion at the sardine museum.
You mustn't go away again. No telling what could happen. 8~)
Certainly #52 was for you. I already know what it says.
Perhaps I just like typing the funniest name on the forum.
Where's my tag?
yes, you read correctly. I sure do like riding in the mountains and camping out. I guess I'm younger than I look.
So, the sardines blew up again. Fish heads and entrails everywhere. I will search for the thread.
Fish entrails are no laughing matter. (Amazing where these threads end up, isn't it?)

Two seriously injured in explosion at sardine museum near Tokyo
An explosion at a sardine museum near Tokyo on Friday severely injured two people and blew a large hole through the roof, police said.
The blast in the coastal town of Kujukuri, about 65 kilometers (40 miles) east of Tokyo, occurred just before opening time and there were no visitors inside, a police spokesman said on condition of anonymity.
A 63-year-old male worker suffered burns over large parts of his body, and a 66-year-old female employee was found unconscious and covered by rubble and debris. Firefighters dug her out.
The two were hospitalized, but their conditions were unknown. The cause of the blast was under investigation.
The Sardine Museum's exhibits include a sardine fishing boat and large fish tanks containing the fish. Kujukuri is a traditional sardine fishing town.
It could be taoism
Sigh
Well someone's 42 months are up here in a couple of weeks. I got to say, it could get interesting
As usual, you out-cryptic me.
