(Courtney) Love and other catastrophes: "BUSH is behind my problems!"
The Age ^ | 7/19/04 | Caroline Overington

Posted on 07/19/2004 2:05:22 PM PDT by MikalM

(Excerpt)

Despite everything, Love believes her predicament is the result of a coordinated financial, legal and personal smear campaign. In a recent interview with London's Sunday Telegraph, she was asked if she bears any responsibility for her current problems.

"The last thing I want to say is, 'I'm a victim', but I am. I believe it's a trickledown from Bush... I should have done an audit. I should have done face-time with people. That is true. But did I bring it on myself? I don't think so."

Yeah, we had to really twist your arm to get you to say the last thing you wanted to say. Uh huh.

I agree with the author -- if she's lucky, she'll wind up in jail. Hard to get drugs in jail, but apparently not impossible.

Well, normally I would just dismiss this as another kooky rocker, but coming from a young woman with the reputation for sobriety and propriety such as Ms. Love, why, I'd have to take this pretty seriously.

OK, maybe not the purple spiders dancing the can-can that only she can see. But the rest, you betcha.

COURTNEY LOVE 'BACK IN HOSPITAL'

COURTNEY LOVE is back in hospital in NEW YORK.

The singer is back in a private clinic after spending the weekend in New York's Bellevue Hospital Center for what her lawyer described as a "gynaecological condition".

Reuters reports that Love's civil attorney, Robert Ring, said during an unrelated court hearing in Santa Monica that the star had been appointed a legal guardian that she was in an East Coast "institution".

There is currently an arrest warrant out for Love, who missed an LA court appearance last week, which relates to an incident last April. She was due to face an assault charge in relation to the claim.

In New York newspapers have published photographs showing Love being carried out of her flat on a stretcher and handcuffs, prior to her first visit to hospital in the city.

http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a362ebcaf06bc.htm

"Then he tried to suck up, of all people, to Courtney Love. Courtney Love is the widow of the grunge rocker Curt Cobain and she has this rock group, by the name of Hole. She just had an interview in Spin magazine, and she say's that Al Gore ran into her, Courtney Love, at a Hollywood party.

He told her ‘I'm a really big fan, I love your work.' My friends, if any American had heard him say this they would have immediately had to question his judgment.

Has anyone ever heard any music from Hole. You would back me up, when I say, music is a stretch. It is noise, literally noise.

Apparently, Courtney Love was not impressed when the Vice President approached her. She did not allow herself to be flattered. She said ‘I was like, yeah right.' She demanded that he name a song. Here comes some politician, losing his hair to boot, comes up and say's ‘yeah I love your work Courtney.' ‘Alright then, name a song.' Gore couldn't, he could not name one song.

He had no clue ladies and gentlemen."

Listen up, Courtney: The only "behind" that's behind your problems, you has-been bee itch, is your own. I might advise you to get a life, but in your case I'll make an exception. Don't get a life. Slither back under your pet rock where you belong — and take Alec, Babbling Babs, Whoopie, Roseanne, Michael, and the whole skanky Hollyweird crowd with you. Trust me, my dear, you most definitely will NOT be missed.

My tagline until the election:
A vote for Kerry-Edwards is a vote for Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Jacques Chirac, the UN, International Criminal Court, and Hollyweirdos.
Failure to vote, or a vote for a minority party, is a vote for Kerry-Edwards (unless you’re a liberal/Leftist who’ll vote Nader, a minority party, or stay home).
