Newsday has reported the Berger story now. Will the liberal press be able to ignore it? To say the least, it's pretty big news.

Who stood to benefit from the documents disappearing? Clinton

Great find. The media will do it's best to down play this the hottest news to come along in months! This should bring down the Clinton legacy for good, but they will see to it that it will not. I firmly believe the Clinton's sent Berger in to get rid of the evidence.

This was pure cover for stuff Clinton did wrong and ignored and the media with cover for him as they have always done.
The media is AWOL on stories that reflect badly for the Rats.

IIRC, the papers in the Archives belong to the issuing agency.
Did Berger steal his own report? Did he steal it in order to alter it because he was the person in the best position to know what it really said? (Bill, they're going to attack any day!).
Or did he steal and/or alter Executive Branch records that belonged to WJC?

It's absolutely incredible. The documents Berger stole apparently were releated to the Millennium Plot review. In that review, Clinton was briefed that Al Qaeda had infilitrated the United States and was planning an attack. And Clinton did nothing!
And then? He sent his national security advisor to steal the documents? Wow!
To: Roscoe Karns
We need to keep this in everyone's ear. The silence from the media is OVERWHELMING! It's going to be interesting to see what that damn 911 report is going to say.
holdonnow's post is so much of slam dunk it would be criminal for Ashcroft to let this go. Bergers ass needs to be arrested...along with anyone else involved

Golly, this takes me back! Clinton and his operatives, miring Washington politics in disgusting sleaze, for no reason but to protect Slick Willie. Man, I feel like I'm back in the '90s!
We've had corrupt presidents before... but Clinton's corruption seems to be the gift that keeps on giving.

The documents he put down his pants musta been extraordinarily incriminating......he was scared silly somebody would see what was in them.
He was paranoid enough to make sure they left the building with him, and resorted to stuffing them down his pants, like some cheap crook shoplifting underwear at Wal-Mart.
These are the desperate actions of a very, very worried individual.

Very interesting article (post 3). Thank goodness the FRENCH judge was probing and turning up what he could on al Queda. I don't care if he is FRENCH - the guy stuck with it and made sure we knew what we had caught.
I live in Seattle and recall that arrest very well from the very beginning. And it might be luck - but I'm hoping that the training that our border folks get is what got him caught (I can hope!). Perhaps Providence, rather than Luck played a part too.

Yeah, Berger will say, the tape is wrong. It wasn't pants. He was stuffing the papers into a whole imported salami he was bringing home to the wife.
