According to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee, who represents the president's own home state, this political "dirty tricks" maneuver from the White House could very well backfire on the conservative president, who had, at one time, pledged to introduce a 'new tone' to the dialogue in Washington.
The 9-11 Commission's report is expected to be highly critical of the president's mishandling of the terrorist attacks, both before and after they occurred."
Berger better get into the witness protection program ASAP or some Arkansas types will come after him....
I'm sorry but you're wrong.
Dan Rather won't wate that much energy talking about it.
He probably won't mention the story at all!
It was reported by a competent source, two armed guards in the evidence room stuffed numerous secret documents into mr Bergers pants and pockets as he struggled to stop them they ushered him out the door. The guards are hired by a division of Haliburton Company, past employer of our Vice President.
This is EXACTLY what perky Katie said on the TODAY show today. She enticed David Gergen by saying, "Are you suggesting that this is perhaps politically motivated?".
Sheesh, gimmie a break Katie. If you were any more transparent, your name would be Pella!
Anybody want fries with that BERGER? - Ping.
CBS radio did lead with the story this morning. Of course, they did try to put a little spin on it. They said " Former Clinton NSA Berger is in hot water with the Bush justice department...". I thought it was the US justice dept?
"Turn the lights down, the party just got wilder."
"He swept through the South like a tornado through a trailer park."
"Don't bet the trailer money yet."
"It's too early to say he has the whip hand."
"Now Florida, that race, the heat from it is hot enough to peel house paint."
"It's a ding dong battle back and forth."
"If he doesn't carry Florida Slim will have left town."
"If a frog had side pockets, he'd carry a hand gun."
"They both have champagne on ice, but after the night is over, they might need a pick axe to open them."
"This race is tight like a too-small bathing suit on a too-long ride home from the beach."
"This race is as tight as the rusted lug nuts on a '55 Ford."

The question is, will Dan Rather even report this story? If he does, how much time will he spend on it? My guess is at the most a mere 10 seconds. I can't wait to see how CNN (the Clinton News Network) approaches this story. I bet most of the of the liberal media "forgets" to mention the fact that Sandy is a Kerry advisor.

What the heck was that weird line. "Is it safe?" or some freaky frequency thing.
Bill O'Reilly: Do you think that Sandy Berger is an honest man?Dan Rather: Oh, yes. I do.
Bill O'Reilly: Do you, really !?
Dan Rather: Oh, yes. I REALLY do.
