This is really amazing. It's getting worse by the day. Yesterday the spin was on (from his mouthpiece). Now today the tone has changed. Guess they got the word.

"If Berger did make any calls from the top secret National Archives reading room, investigators will want to check his cell phone records to see whom he was contacting, and whether he was discussing the purloined documents."
Ooops. Anyone think Berger was stupid enough to call Clinton or Kerry? Of course, he wasn't aware he was under a sting operation.

"Berger was observed stuffing his socks with handwritten notes"
Oh, yeah. This doesn't look nefarious at all. I put papers in my socks all the time.
**Docs in Socks**, a new child's book by Dr. Bergler.

I guess Peter Fenn will now have to eat his words. He appeared on Hannity/Colmes on Tuesday nite, saying that the socks story just wasn't true. I'll have to admit, I thought it was too outrageous to be true, myself. I still find it difficult to believe that someone could be so stupid to do this.

Anyone think Berger was stupid enough to call Clinton or Kerry? Yes, because, after 8 years in the clinton WH, these people are used to doing whatever they please and getting away with it.

So, does allegedly stealing these documents show that Samuel "Sandy" "Sox Burglar" Berger stupid, evil, and/or insane?

Someone needs to forward this to E.D. over at Fox & friends. She was attempting to run interference for Handy Bugler this Morning saying it was all congecture and rumor.
Wake up E.D. your precious Demonrats are CROOKS, THIEFS AND TRAITORS!

Does anyone know the penalty for theft of these type of classified documents? Been searching the web, but can't seem to find the info.
Thanks

If Berger did make any calls from the top secret National Archives reading room, investigators will want to check his cell phone records to see whom he was contacting, and whether he was discussing the purloined documents. Here's hoping Berger didn't have a videophone trained on any important documents.

I guess Peter Fenn will now have to eat his words. So will Dee Dee Myers, who was on Scarborough saying the same thing.

If Condi was accused of doing this it would be the story of the century. But since it is only Clinton-Berger, move-on.....
To: Fenris6
I hope to God they've already done that -- many months ago.

this whole story is gross, too ... who wants to read a paper that's been strapped to sandy's leg or stuffed down his pants?

Lanny Davis too. Although a defense from that weasel is like a Gore endorsement.

Hamburglar defense strategy: "No, no, those weren't documents in my pants..."
To: kattracks
Trivial point - I think it was *notes* in socks, not the actual memo's.

So what bjclinton was describing was "nervous laughter". Signal to old Sandy the Burglar, "What the .ell are you doing admitting this on nation wide tv".
