I'm glad you wrote it, cuz it would've taken too much time and brain-power for *me* to create!
ROFL!
Well, my wonderful and still alive Teletac 200 did, under NYC in the train tunnels!
If he is as honest as his defenders are saying, then he must have disclosed the investigation to Kerry. Kerry says he didn't have a clue. Either Berger is not honest, in which case most of what has been reported is credible, or Kerry is lying. They can't have it both ways.
Except the handwritten notations and the contents of those drafts that didn't make the final cut. Those are the things that they wanted to keep from the commission.
And George knows this because why? Berger or Clinton told him, so it must be true...
I agree - altho check the statute printed here above. Perhaps they said something just after they realized he had left and probably taken something, which seems to be covered there.
But yes, generally it is ALSO illegal to allow this to happen - if you know about it!
But, they aren't big kahunas - they *could* be having trouble themselves, but that's not an interesting story to the rest of us. ;-)
They said the exact same thing about Webster Hubble. You know, Webster Hubble, the ex-con.
"Guards also told investigators that Berger repeatedly asked to be left alone so he could make private phone calls. If Berger did make any calls from the top secret National Archives reading room, investigators will want to check his cell phone records to see whom he was contacting, and whether he was discussing the purloined documents."
Another thing to ask is if Berger had a picture phone.
i dunno about this, but it is my understanding that the archives are very secure and deep underground. why would they acquiesce? hmmm, same reason no one stopped those 14 syrians from lingering at the lavatories on the dtw to lax flight?
No, this is long after he was gone! He was a visitor, not their "boss".
Doesn't matter, if some1 finds out, somewhere somehow soon they will be in big trouble, too. Classified guards and their bosses are pretty damn incorruptible, if you ask me.
LOL! Did you put that on the blog or was it already there?
Another thing to ask is if Berger had a picture phone.
Yikes! Over an unsecure line? this can get really ugly.
"There's all sorts of stuff that Clinton did that should have "staggering implications for the Democratic Party," but they've blithely ignored them."
No, "the American people", those who call themselves Democrats, have ignored them.
Remember, this is STILL a democratic republic. "the people" are still culpable!
I made it based upon your suggestion. This one's quick & dirty, I could do better, but I figure speed was more important than beauty.
The real creative one here is the Freeper who wrote alternate words for the book.
"He also said that everything that Berger looked at was just copies"
Typical Dem backing off trying to legitimize it - 1st deny it happened at all, then insist it was "only this which isn't so bad"....
Next desparate stage is "every1 does it".............
This whole cycle was constantly repeated during the Clinton admin.
by tomorrow we will be hearing how his actions were "courageous" given the damning indictment of the unelected white house resident's pre 9/11 efforts...
You 2 should put them together. Sell it as a Republican pamphlet!
Altho, a suggestion for a future fix - change it to "Docs" instead of "Dox" (from the original "Fox", I know). Just to make it very clear.
Love the pic! Do you have a source for an untouched version?
Sandy "Ham" Burglar was making phone calls OVER AN UNSECURED CELL PHONE from the reading room for top secret information???? Say it ain't so. Can we be sure these guys are so technologically inept that he wasn't sending photos with a picture phone? This is amazing!
My question is this: "If the guards saw what he was doing, shouldn't they have 1) stopped him? 2) arrested him? 3) reported him to someone who could arrest him, if they couldn't? 4) other?
