Why would Kerry be hounding the commission unless he had information from Berger, that he wanted in the report or didn't want in the report? This could explain the theory of Berger sharing Confidential Archives with Kerry.

My thoughts exactly. The more I read about Kerry, the more I despise him. I know there is such a thing as politics, but we are talking NATIONAL SECURITY and AMERICAN LIVES here. The dems make me sick.

And of course, Mr. Lehman, you decided that the only way to right that wrong was to denigrate the FDNY, comparing the firefighters that gave their lives to save others on 9/11/01 to a bunch of "Boy Scouts"

Quit lying & smearing! That is not what he said! He said that the communications system (purchased & maintained by BUREACRATS) was not worthy of the boy scouts.

I have assumed that it was drafts of Clarke's after action report on Millennium security that included these criticisms of the Clinton administrations handling of security, that were purloined from the secure reading room in the Berglery.

When the commission was interviewing Clarke, it seemed obious to me, that he was being used as a partisan tool for the Democrats. To Prove that they did this with that intent...amazing.

Lehman is on Hannity right now lying his ass off about how they didn't cover up for Bubba, it's really disgusting.

Yeh, and the lame Hannity is not sticking to his guns.

This Commission was as real and authentic as breast implants.

Clarke's book? Bob Kerrey held it up for the cameras like a salesman

Yes he did .. and he had to have known Clarke's story changed

Might also explain why he snapped today

That is what I've been saying for the past two days. I hope that Clarke is being looked at as a co-conspirator in the obstruction of a government investigation (the (9/11 commission investigation). I don't know if the commission investigation can be considered official, but if the testimony was under oath, I would think so. I hope that there some evidence to tie Gorelick into this as well, because I am sure that some of those notes pertained to the wall of separation that Gorelick had set up.

National Security has always been a joke to the Democrats. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy..."We all laughed when we heard the report". Name the SOB who said this?

Nothing has changed since 1971. Kerry didn't care about American lives then (the soldiers he slandered and called baby-killers and rapists), and he doesn't care now. He is scum.

I doubt it - Bob Kerrey is a pompous, thin-skinned egomaniacal jerk. He was probably outraged that some "little people" actually had the temerity to wave their anti-Rat signs in his sainted presence. That explains why he snapped. Why would he sweat a little thing like another Rat being caught in a lie? It's not like he or any of his fellow Rats are going to suffer any consequences after all.

Well then he didn't do a very good job explaining himself then, because I and lot of other people came away with the impression that he was playing to the crowd, denigrating the FDNY. That entire day was nothing but a solid Rudy, NYPD and FDNY trash-fest, complete with rabid lunatics getting themselves thrown out of the room for the cameras while the panel just sat there and simpered. Quite a little firestorm erupted over his "Boy Scout" remarks - if his remarks were as badly misrepresented as you seem to imply, then why didn't he get out there and explain himself better after the fact?
