TWA Flight 800 bombing (according to George Stephanopoulos) murdering ~230 passengers, October 31, 1998
Two points: First, Flight 800 was beyond the range of shoulder-fired missiles, and second, it didn't happen in NY harbor. Not to say that Flight 800 wasn't shot down by some kind of missile, but your average SAM or Stinger wasn't up to the job.
And third, why do you post everything, including your vanities, into activism/chapters?
What's the connection in your header about TWA800 and Sandy Berger.
And as much as I think there is reason to believe it was attacked, you're flagellating in the wind. They could never admit it.

TWA 800's successful shootdown took place only weeks before DIRT Ex-POTUS' re-election. Acknowledging a terror horror on US soil that close to the balloting wouldn't ensured not only a Xlinton loss, but the end of Democratic rule for a generation.
They HAD to manufacture a myth about "central fuel tanks". That they were able to do this despite hundreds of witnesses terrifies me to this day.

my brother in law, who is a pilot for a major airline, belives to this day that flight was shot down... he said the very next day, a missle shot it down.
In a hundred years from now, the truth will surface.
Its also obvious that the gov't positioned itself control the release of information and that it was worried about the cause. Its not so obvious that they actually did block information.
2. If Flight 800 was brought down by a missile, it was shot down by a U.S. or NATO navy ship conducting exercises off the south shore of Long Island that night.
I don't know the exact cause of the crash, but the facts of this incident clearly indicate that the two statements I posted here are true.

A local attorney near me who represents a lot of air force personnel on various matters (and presumably has discussed this topic with them) is convinced that Flight 800 was a successful "shoe bomb." He indicated that the Philippines had warned us about an unsuccessful shoe bomb attempt on one of their airliners shortly before this. Apparently that one blew up the passenger, but not the whole plane.
I know that's a lot of hearsay upon hearsay, but what do you think about the shoe bomb theory?

I agree with you 100%.
There was no center fuel tank explosion.
The coverup of the SAM missile that struck TWA 800 is one of the greatest deceits perpetrated upon the American people by a lying, venal government.
Now that Berger has been exposed as a thief and a liar, maybe he will reveal what he knows of TWA 800, as part of his plea bargain.
The fact that they could not confirm the presence of explosives does not mean they were never present.
At the end of the day, I do not believe this is a cover-up. No way the government could keep this secret. Somebody always talks, aways.
They lied about it because it would hurt Clinton politically to appear impotent in protecting the US against terrorism. The OKC bombing was blamed on right-wing talk radio. TWA 800 was blamed on a gas tank explosion, although the FAA never made one recommendation on how to prevent future explosions (ever heard of that before?)<p. Clinton was behind in the polls before OKC. George Stephanopolous stated that OKC was what won Clinton the election. Clinton blamed conservatives for it. OKC was the Rats Reichstag fire.
Nahhhhh, they can't (and won't ever) do that, because then they'd naturally open up the can of worms that is admitting that Hillary Clinton hired Craig Livingsto,ne who is the one who acquired (and was in control of) all the FBI files at Hillary's demand and kept them in a lower floor of the White House.

Flight 800 was downed by a show-bomb akin to Richard Reid's. The explosion occured right over the center fuel tank (where Reid was sitting). The passenger manifest included a Muslim man with his residence in London, who attended the same mosque as Richard Reid and Zaccharias Moussoui. There is no evidence of a missile besides unreliable "witness" accounts.

The building was prevented from futher investigation and the rubble was removed quickly.
