Sorry about the title folks, I thought that would get some attention.
I was on a thread this morning: RICH: 'MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE' MORE PARTISAN THAN 'FAHRENHEIT 911'. It explained that this movie being brought out by the lefty/socialist/Democrat Hollywood may have even a greater negative influence on the election than Moore's pile of lies.
It is obvious to all of us that this effort to beat our President George Bush and ruin the direction of conservatism by the lefty institutions in this country has never been so diligent and so focused. The mainstream news media has become so blatantly left leaning that nearly every day I really have the impulse to strangle one (or more) of them.
Last night for example Chrissie 'Softball' Matthews had the arrogance and hutzpah to shove that famous and sleazy bricklayer, Jamie Gorelick, in our faces immediately after the 9/11 Report came out. Each day now we can see the relentless effort of the mainstream liars to ignore Sandy Berger's disgusting and unforgivable thefts!
All of us are alarmed at the power of the influential media on most voters, I am very worried. I am worried because most Americans are too busy, too disinterested, or just too damn ignorant to get to know the truth of real news events. So there is a genuine fear that the media and the other lefty influential institutions will be successful in winning this election for the lowly opportunist, John Kerry.
But, here may be how we can win this election with honesty and hard work. We will have to go around the media. It will take all our efforts, each day until November. Each of us has to do this. See what you think.

The brainwashing by the media/entertainment business is never-ending. I don't believe the American people are smart or interested enough to see through it. Bush and the country are in deep trouble. But I think I have a way to win this election, but I must go work now. I'll start a thread later on this. Let me just say this now.
I ran into a landscaper Monday who buys my plant products. We started talking about the election. I started the conversation. He's a smart enough guy, but he's got that "Bush is in the pocket of big business, Republicans are evil" bull in his head. But I persisted. I asked him what he was interested in. He mentioned "a fear of bombings" in our country. I brought up OKC! Then I asked him to look up Jayna Davis on his computer. He was a somewhat curious guy so he said he would. He drove away, and yesterday he called me back and was amazed at what he learned (about OKC). To make a long story short, this guy was a sure Dem. voter in November, he had said so, now he's amazed at what he's learning and had never known. He's asking for more to see. I turned him onto Kerry's activities with VVAW. He's now seriously thinking of voting for Bush. He hates commies. Now he's beginning to realize the commie is Kerry.
ALL of us must find those 'on the fence voters' who we know, find their interests, then give them something to look up and learn about THAT interest.
It works, and if we want to have a chance to beat this sick media/entertainment onslaught, we must individually find these people and make an effort to influence them before November.

Nah, I wasn't going to see it in the first place after I saw Meryl Creep was in it, she's about as entertaining to me as Susan Sarandumb bleating alongside her idiotic husband Tim Robbins who fakes an English accent as bad as Madonna does.

This is still July. There are probably at least a half dozen more liberal-anti-Bush movies coming out before November. Who knows how many Bush-bashing books? Even though all the books so far (Wilson and Clarke) have proven to be full of lies and hypocrisy...CBS 60 Minutes I & II will not retract nor make corrections, but will schedule the next Bush-bashing author as soon as his/her book is published, and add to that all the morning programs of ABC, CBS & NBC. I'm sure Oprah will have on Michael Moore before November as well as the cast of this new movie Manchurian Candidate and the other Bush-bashing movies. Oprah can influence a major portion of the women of all types and colors all over this country.
As for weak spined republicans in the Congress, it will only get worse. The reason, who would want to run for office? If you are conservative, the press will ruin your life, so it's just not worth it. Example: Jack Ryan. Mike Ditka knew better. Poor Illinois will have a liberal, left-winger probably run un-opposed. After Jack Ryan, whould would be fool enough to run?
Between the socialists and the Islamics making steady strides, flyover country had better prepare to defend their own.
Please tell me why I should give a good heap of feces what those folks, do or think??
Sad but True. It will not take us long from going from the Socialist States of America to the People's Republic of America. Republican party will be outlawed or de-fanged and free speech will be re-termed hate speech. Well, at least we will have health care (as long as you wait in line) and the streets will be safe as the only real criminals will be in government. Americans will be feeing to Baghdad to find Religious and Political freedom. Lets hope that day never comes! Vote Bush--Vote Freedom

Why is it so difficult for people to believe that this country is under siege by an organzied, popular and powerful group who wants this nation to become socialistic? There has been a promise and threat of government infiltration by the Communists for years. It began with Roosevelt being a Communist sympathizer. Then Hollywood was infiltrated to control our information. It escalated in the 60's to control our youth who are now at the age that many of them are in our government. They have erroded our morality through abortion, education, drugs and sex. They have no shame in their agenda, they tell us what they want we just don't listen because they call themselves Americans instead of Communists. Bill and Hillary Clinton were a practice run, just to see how far we could be pushed, and we know those results. Kerry is the real deal. When a politican is telling you that he wants the UN to control our military, or that she may need to take your money away for the better good we should wake up. Kerry wants a "New America" and Edwards is condemning "two Americas." We better ask them how they spell AMERICA.

You got that right. Each payday, I hold back monies to purchase bullets and make a few gun purchases. I have several pistols, rifles, shotguns, and am currently looking for a used M-1 Abrams tank if anyone might have one extra out there they are willing to sell.

Look, regarding the influence of the media, I think you have to give folks more credit. Remember back in 1972, the liberal had all of the media - and Nixon won in a landslide.
Look at yourself. Has the barrage of anti-Bush media changed your mind about who to vote for? Of course not. In fact, Republicans are more loyal toward Bush than Democrats are with Kerry.
I think most people vote for the candidate who best reflects their values, and lifestyles A person born and raised in Omaha is not going to see the world the same way a Manhattanite will.
The remaining independents might be swayed by the media. But I suspect that the debates will have as great an effect on them as anything else. When all else fails, voters want to like the candidate they choose - as a person. John F. Kerry does not strike me as a likable guy.
But I applaud the efforts of those who are trying to change minds, and wish you luck. I'm doing the same. By all means friends, get out there and VOTE for W.

I'd hate to be young at this point in this country's history. It is astonishing how much the character of the average person has diminished by the efforts of the people you mentioned. And the worst thing is, the people are fat, they have their TV, their porn, their movies, and all sorts of other diversions.... so there are no revolts or revolutions in the future to cleanse the place.
Just a slow rotten death of the beautiful creation for which the Founding Fathers sacrificed.
