Sorry about the title folks, I thought that would get some attention.
I was on a thread this morning: RICH: 'MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE' MORE PARTISAN THAN 'FAHRENHEIT 911'. It explained that this movie being brought out by the lefty/socialist/Democrat Hollywood may have even a greater negative influence on the election than Moore's pile of lies.
It is obvious to all of us that this effort to beat our President George Bush and ruin the direction of conservatism by the lefty institutions in this country has never been so diligent and so focused. The mainstream news media has become so blatantly left leaning that nearly every day I really have the impulse to strangle one (or more) of them.
Last night for example Chrissie 'Softball' Matthews had the arrogance and hutzpah to shove that famous and sleazy bricklayer, Jamie Gorelick, in our faces immediately after the 9/11 Report came out. Each day now we can see the relentless effort of the mainstream liars to ignore Sandy Berger's disgusting and unforgivable thefts!
All of us are alarmed at the power of the influential media on most voters, I am very worried. I am worried because most Americans are too busy, too disinterested, or just too damn ignorant to get to know the truth of real news events. So there is a genuine fear that the media and the other lefty influential institutions will be successful in winning this election for the lowly opportunist, John Kerry.
But, here may be how we can win this election with honesty and hard work. We will have to go around the media. It will take all our efforts, each day until November. Each of us has to do this. See what you think.

The brainwashing by the media/entertainment business is never-ending. I don't believe the American people are smart or interested enough to see through it. Bush and the country are in deep trouble. But I think I have a way to win this election, but I must go work now. I'll start a thread later on this. Let me just say this now.
I ran into a landscaper Monday who buys my plant products. We started talking about the election. I started the conversation. He's a smart enough guy, but he's got that "Bush is in the pocket of big business, Republicans are evil" bull in his head. But I persisted. I asked him what he was interested in. He mentioned "a fear of bombings" in our country. I brought up OKC! Then I asked him to look up Jayna Davis on his computer. He was a somewhat curious guy so he said he would. He drove away, and yesterday he called me back and was amazed at what he learned (about OKC). To make a long story short, this guy was a sure Dem. voter in November, he had said so, now he's amazed at what he's learning and had never known. He's asking for more to see. I turned him onto Kerry's activities with VVAW. He's now seriously thinking of voting for Bush. He hates commies. Now he's beginning to realize the commie is Kerry.
ALL of us must find those 'on the fence voters' who we know, find their interests, then give them something to look up and learn about THAT interest.
It works, and if we want to have a chance to beat this sick media/entertainment onslaught, we must individually find these people and make an effort to influence them before November.
It works, but we all have to do it..... or we lose.

Try to tell me what EXACTLY is WRONG (we are talking about morality here, aren't we?).
By defending what you said you are defending what Barron said. You're both wrong in saying those things. Not illegal - just wrong. Just my opinion.

Many of us also have an impulse and desire to NOT pay all the taxes that we do, but we pay them.
So there is no need for your warnings and "condemnation", as you mentioned, or any righteous high-horse sanctimony. You're a good old guy, I know you well, but your comparison here is trifling.
When you make such sophomoric and simplistic comparisons between Barron's wishes and mine you do yourself no justice. On the other hand, maybe I'm giving you too much credit.
I'm still not convinced about the OKC thing, BUT...knowing Klinton anything is possible.
The most ethical administration in history is looking like they are all going to do some hard time.
As conservatives and Freepers we should be on the frontlines recruiting and preaching our message everywhere we go. We should never let idiotic statements about our message go unchallenged. Just this month I have personally registered at least 50 people to vote. 50 people who are known conservatives to me, but are so apathetic about voting that they don't go vote. Because of the media they think that Bush is so horrible that why should they even bother. They know Kerry is a commie punk, so they won't ever go vote for that POS.
All it takes is just one seed like you planted to make a difference. Good job.

LOL! Then I really have to speak up by explaining that they even have a way to silence us. They have created catch phrases that makes us "politically incorrect," which incidentally, is another catch phrase to silence us.
I'm not going to waste any more time with you. This is it.
I could give you a number of reasons why your comparison, condemnation and warnings are simplistic, inappropriate and wrong-headed. Here is one, and then I must go back to work.
Barron said that he wanted to slap ANY white guy.... he didn't even have to know the guy....... Barron had NO GRIPE with the white guy..... the white guy was just ANY white guy on the street. Barron had no complaint against the anonymous white guy..... other than that he was white. On the other hand, I (and most of the rest of the Republicans, Constitutionalists, and conservatives) have felt a personal grievance toward the mainstream media. The mainstream media and lowlife sleazoids like Dan Rather have taken it upon themselves to lie about, distort, and outrightly ignore news events - much to the detriment and injury to this country and to the benefit of the liberal Democrat/Socialists who are tearing the fabric of this country apart.
If you don't see the difference, then you must go back to school and get that education. Leadpenny, you are too smart not to understand the difference and that there is no need for "condemnation" as you said. Now, that's that!

It would be great if you started a thread explaining what you did (above), and to implore all others here to do the same. It's those people who have been turned off to politics that can be influenced, and we all must try to influence them, or we lose, and this country is past tense.
Not so fast, Charlie Brown! You're still making a distinction without a difference. If you were to substitue 'beyond the sea' for Barron, and 'anyone in the media' for 'a white guy,' you're saying the same thing.
The way I see it, "when you're in a hole - quit digging!"

Kudos to you for changing this man's mind. Most of the dims I run into in the course of my day are intellectual nitwits. Some days I wonder if my "preaching" to the left is worth it. It feels like banging my head against a brick wall.

When this guy learned (on his computer) what Jayna Davis had to say about OKC, he was nearly ready to exterminate the Dems/Clinton/lying liberals. It works, it must be done or we lose I fear. The media is a killer.
