If memory serves, he did vote to convict on one count and not on another which is still better than most.
Overall tho Shelby probably voted opposite the Clinton position on issues more often than just about any other Senator.
I agree. He does have a great voting record on most things.
I just think that Shelby's behavior was strange during impeachment. It was like the Clinton's had something on him with those FBI files.

Breaking story just posted under Drudge. Seems he leaked CLASSIFIED information to CARL CAMERON of Fox News. Carl told FBI Investigators when interrogated. Amazing how easy a reporter gives up his SOURCE when the source is in the GOP. Standby for 24/7 Shelby attacks with the MEDIA doing everything possible to connect Shelby somehow to GW and the ADMINISTRATION.
It's a headline on Drudge with few details. I remember reading a snipit about this last last week.

Olberman HATES Fox -- he blamed Rupert Murdock for getting fired off his sports reporting job in LA because he reported Murdock was thinking of buying some team -- after he'd try to confirm and told him he was going to press with it unless he was told not to. Murdock didn't say anything, let him go and then evidentally spoke to the station owner and he was fired -- so he will fire every shot across the Fox Bow he can get away with.
Probably something the democrats dreamed up to take the heat off berger or so that they can go back to their "He did it too" thing when they cannot refutr the facts.
What happened to Leahy when he did the same thing?

I heard this last week also.
Concerning Carl Cameron. I have been watching him on the Kerry campaign. Every time I see him, he is grinning ear to ear. I thought to myself today, he seems much to excited to be reporting this. Almost giddy. He said yesterday there was as much as 15 thousand plus people there at the campaign location. I had not heard that anywhere else.
I think his kerrylove is showing!
Seems he can't quit grinning.
So it now, doesn't surprise me that he leaked the leak. And turned in Republican Shelby.
I have watched him report all during the convention and have not picked up on any bias, until they left on the bus. It seems to be very evident. I don't know if anyone else is seeing what I see.
I guess I just didn't realize where he stood.
I noticed the same thing with E.D. on Fox & Friends today.
Very Pro-kerry.
Maybe this isn't true about Shelby.
But if it's true, then Shelby, like Berger, should be shown the door.
