According to the reports in today's papers, he wanted to keep on pitching, even though his hamstring was tightening up, but Joe and Mel shut him down because they were worried he'd hurt his arm overcompensating for the hammy hurting. It doesn't sound too serious, from what the papers say, and El Duque says he's planning on starting again in four days.
He was something last night, too. He had runners on first and second with nobody out, due to two walks, and he managed to shut down the Jays without giving up a run. Good head on his shoulders.
As for Randy, let's hope he's in pinstripes by the weekend!
Spoiled heiress (Hawn) falls off her yacht and is rescued by her handyman (real life love Russell). When she suffers amnesia, Kurt gets back at her tyrannical ways by claiming that he's her husband and forces her to do menial labor for the first time in her life. Very nice supporting performances from Herrmann (as her real husband) and Roddy McDowall as her long-suffering butler. Director Garry Marshall (Pretty Woman) also does a quick cameo as a drummer.
