I haven't heard any details about his purple hearts. I'm sure they were terrible, life threatening wounds. But tell me, how the heck do you shoot a rock? At night? I guess would be stranger if you shot a rock in the daytime. Besides, those VC can be disguised as anything.

Kerry's hidden medical problem is most likely some form of VD, perhaps also an illegal drug issue. Those are the most common reasons why an apparently healthy person would keep their medical records private when they suffer a disadvantage in doing so.

Clinton did the same thing, and apparently for the same reasons. Jack Kennedy had the same problems -- chronic VD and illegal drug use -- with Addison's disease (destroyed adrenal glands) a further and even more compelling reason for keeping his medical records secret.

Nixon was supposedly taking an anti-depressant, but the source is suspect and that has never been substantiated.

Could Kerry have a social disease? Or perhaps his Purple Hearts were for something similar to a paper cut (allegedly he spent a few months in Viet Nam)? Or he has heart problems and might not live long?

We know of two procedures for sure. First it is obvious that he had unibrow removal surgery, plus the two pegs in his neck were removed shortly after The Munsters was cancelled.

I'd thought about that too, but people who suffer from that tend to have large, puffy hands. Kerry's aren't.

There seems to be a concerted effort on the part of Kerry not to leave a paper trail of any kind.

No records pertaining to his overall medical history. Genetic disorders? Drug use?

No medical records pertaining to his Purple Hearts. He served in Viet Nam, you know. Just how severe were the injuries?

No medical records pertaining to his prostate cancer. Did they "get it all"? Are there, or do they anticipate there will be, some of the common aftereffects of such surgery (which we need not detail here)?

No academic records from Harvard, as far as I know. They mustn't have been too stellar, since the best law school he could get into, even after running for Congress in 1972, was Boston College (no disrespect intended, but it's second-tier, and top-flight law schools were easier for an Ivy League grad to get into in the early '70s than they are now).

No divorce settlement records from Wife #1.

No (or very incomplete) tax records from Wife #2.

No (or very incomplete) financial records of the political foundations endowed by Wife #2. Which ones are tax exempt? Exactly what causes do they support? What are the names of other major supporters?

No (or very incomplete) records of the ownership of the six or seven houses John and/or Teresa own. Joint ownership? Revert to Teresa per a pre-nup agreement? If so, can John legitimately borrow against any of them? Tax values? Valuation appeals? Records of tax payments? And exactly what is the story of Kerry's private island -- co-ownership with the Forbes (not Steve) family?

Heck, even very incomplete voting records in the Senate, because he contradicted himself when he was there, and has been absent for crucial votes for most of the last year.

Kerry is a very elusive target. And he has a lot to hide.

Make that Yale. He graduated from there in 1966, but I haven't ever heard of his academic records ever being released from Yale.
