WASHINGTON, July 26 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The Council on American- Islamic Relations (CAIR) is calling on the nation's largest radio network to apologize for anti-Islam remarks by talk show host and comedian Jackie Mason, who recently called "the whole Muslim religion" a "murderous organization" that teaches "hate, terrorism and murder."
The Washington-based Islamic civil rights and advocacy group said Mason, who is also known for his right-wing and pro-Israel political commentaries, made the remarks as guest host on a recent broadcast of the Jim Bohannon Show, syndicated nationally by Westwood One.
During the broadcast, New York lawyer Raoul Felder, who is a frequent co-author of Mason's commentaries, attacked the character of Islam's Prophet Muhammad. He also said: "This (Islam) is a religion of hate, this is a religion of murder."
Mason responded by amplifying Felder's bigotry.
He said: "This is amazing information that almost nobody is aware of...everyone thinks that it's a legitimate religion that preaches love and brotherhoodthe truth of the matter is (that terrorists) are reflecting the religion and following the religionthey are following the orders of the religion directly from the Quran...in plain English, the whole Muslim religion is preaching and teaching hate, terrorism and murder, and nobody knows it, and its about time they found out about itThe Quran...is 50 versions of hate, venom, hostility, and murder...dedicated to terrorism...I don't know how we can call it a religion in the traditional sense. It should be called a murderous organization that's out to kill people."
In a letter to Westwood One, CAIR demanded a public apology to the Muslim community and an opportunity to refute Mason's Islamophobic smears. The letter stated: "It is this type of hate- filled propaganda that was used by the Nazis as justification for their persecution of the Jewish community in Germany." (CAIR also filed a complaint with the FCC.)
Earlier this year, CAIR announced a campaign designed to counter anti-Islamic hate on talk radio. The campaign, called "Hate Hurts America," is based on the premise that the increasing attacks on Islam by talk show hosts harm the United States by creating a downward spiral of interfaith mistrust and hostility. As part of that campaign, Muslims were given step-by-step instructions on how to monitor local and syndicated radio programs, report anti-Muslim hate, file FCC complaints, and contact advertisers to register their concerns. Jackie Mason is great! I die laughing everytime he is on TV or any newshow as a guest. He is a great comedian and is not afraid to say the truth!
The talking heads at fox on sunday said there is a islamic group which has a "rapid response" email team to attack anyone who says ANYTHING even the slightest negative about the moslem faith.
He did not name names but CAIR is right up there.

Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, The Black Flag wavers (some bs like that) Mujahdeen, Mohammeds Men, blah blah blah, if it is truly peaceful where is the islam clerics protesting the horrendous acts in the name of islam. If the 30 years war were repeated the pope would condemn the actions of both groups, the catholics and the protestants. They are brainwashed from day 1 that America is the enemy of them and Islam. CAIR might have more credibility if they condemned their own when they commit atrocious acts and/or statements. But you never hear that -- instead, they just provide excuses. Zero credibility.

"If Mason does not apologize, we will rip his heart out, we will skin him alive before we do and make a canoe from his Pig hide. How dare he call us murderers"
When advised of these comments, Mason picked up a fork, proceeded to poke himself several times in the chest with the implement and then said; "Screw your damn canoe's"

EXACTLY! These so-called peace-loving muslum organizations are the first ones to disappear into the woodwork whenever the terrorists kill in the name of Islam! They are so full of It!
If these losers went marching in the streets screaming against the Moslem terrorists, and distancing themselves from its murderous theology. If they demanded and insisted on their religion leaders to reform Islam the religion ITSELF, then we should be careful not lump all of them together. The reality is at no time did I hear forceful repudiation of the Moslem terrorists or forceful call to reform Islam’s call for killing the infidels. Islam as it stands is in great need for reformation. Just take all that barbaric stuff and the inequality for women, and sweep it under the rug, and preach ONLY from the peaceful verses.

Do yourself a favor and order from Amazon his first Broadway show - it's probably on DVD or CD. It's from the 1980s but the humor and truths are alive today.
How dare Mason call Islam an ''organisation'' ! It's an ''organisation'' in the same sense (sort of) that a high school chess club is. More malignant, of course, but in most cases the ''organisers'' of this ''organisation'' couldn't organise a potty-run for a group of 3-year olds.
