I didn't think much of Coulter's column--she's produced much better stuff in the past.
However, the comments by the USAT editors show how out of touch they really are.

Gore gave a speech accusing the Bush administration of deploying digital Brown Shirts to intimidate journalists and pressure the media into writing good things about Bush -- in case you were wondering where all those glowing articles about Bush were coming from.I guess USA Today must have "got" the humor in this comment. They didn't comment. LOL
Does this mean they plan to "credential" M Moore with press passes to the Republican convention?
If so I hope someone bring a firearm. Seriesly.

I DON'T GET IT. At least the liberal editor was right and actually represented all liberals....they don't get it.

"hired by USA Today to offer commentary about this weeks Democratic National Convention...
I wonder if she is under exclusive contract with USA Today. If so, would be a very effective method of keeping her convention "commentary" out of the media for this week.

"HUMAN EVENTS has learned that conservative columnist Jonah Goldberg of National Review will be Ann Coulter's replacement for the USA Today convention commentary."If USA Today didn't "get" Ann Coulter, they are going to be totally in the dark with Jonah Goldberg.
To: Rummyfan
If those "I don't get it" comments by USA Today are honest and sincere (and that's a big "if") then there is insufficient reason to spike the column. Ann should sue. LOL.
To: Rummyfan
She should have seen this coming and said she'd write an editorial with USA Today's comments pre-written by her so they wouldn't have to bother. That would have been funnier.

As for the pretty girls, I can only guess that its because liberal boys never try to make a move on you without the UN Security Council's approval. Plus, its no fun riding around in those dinky little hybrid cars. My pretty-girl allies stick out like a sore thumb amongst the corn-fed, no make-up, natural fiber, no-bra needing, sandal-wearing, hirsute, somewhat fragrant hippie chick pie wagons they call "women" at the Democratic National Convention. USA Today: NOT FUNNY, I DON'T GET IT.
That USA Today doesn't "get it" about this hilarious-because-it-is-so-true depiction of leftist wimin, demonstrates perfectly the innate bias of their newspaper.
