this comes from the same people who are in a snit because GWB waited 7 minutes after hearing of the terrorist attack rather than rush willy nilly back to DC after a breath. Seven minutes and they consider that too long. Just what is thoughtfulness to them.

He is the enemy of thoughtfulness. Words are not friends of Dick. A thousand of his words would not be worth a picture (unless it was one painted on velvet, but not the ones of Elvis, which are ok).

This is really sad.
Dreyfus has actually shown some fair amount of class in the liberal-conservative
tussle.

The great Hitchcock knew actors better than anyone and here are some of his quotes about them:
When an actress asked Hitchcock if her right or left profile was better, he told her, "My dear, you're sitting on your best profile."
"Actors are cattle"
"I didn't say actors are cattle. What I said was, actors should be treated like cattle."

Keep on shooting your mouth off Richard. The more vitriol you folks from the "hollywood elite" use to bash President Bush, the more voters you lose for Kerry.

``He is the enemy of thoughtfulness.'' I like the sound of that.
Shall we add 'Thoughtfulness Enemies Squad' to our business cards?

Another arrogant actor to go on the no-see list. Can anyone tell me for which car company Dreyfus does the voiceovers? Is it Honda? At any rate, they need to know that this is unacceptable as well.

For sure it is time to make that list of Actors to boycott.
My wife and I just saw the preview to Meet The Parents 2. We loved the first one but aint gonna pay money to see "Babs".

If my name were Dreyfuss, I don't think I'd put much stock in what the French
government says. Perhaps he forgets how his great uncle was treated by the
French government.
He should have listened to today's interview with John Shattuck (sp?), the
Democrat who was the ambassador to the Czech Republic during Clinton's Administration.
Shattuck said to radio-host Dennis Prager that the French were the slowest to
move when talks about "interventions" (military or political, he didn't specify)
arose during Clinton's tenure.
I wonder if this included the Rwanda massacre.
Just another reason to dislike the French...

I admit I'm not a movie buff, but I haven't heard of any of them. Maybe he's having trouble finding quality roles because the dufus he played in "Close Encounters" was the real Dreyfus.

Is this the same Richard Dreyfuss that told the striper to "let me smell you"? Yeah he is someone on my list of I will follow you.

If this incoherent rant by Dreyfus is an example of "thoughtfullness," then thank God GWB is the enemy of this kind of thinking.
Thoughtfullness. What a joke. Hey Dreyfus, get a brain.
To: BadAndy
Leftists adore incoherence.
Because they are post-moderns; they value rhetorical and emotional effect above facts or logic. Hence their love for Michael Moore. "I wasn't raised in George Bush's America" has emotional punch, but it is incoherent when you analyze it; the America he grew up in was far more conservative and provincial than "George Bush's America."
