National poll shows John Kerry slipping --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Big News Network.com Wednesday 28th July, 2004

A national poll shows John Kerry's ratings slipping against President Bush on Iraq and the economy, the Washington Post said Tuesday.

Over the past month, the Massachusetts Democrat has lost ground to President Bush on several key issues and character traits, the Washington Post-ABC poll indicated.

The poll, conducted July 22-25, showed Bush leading Kerry 52 percent-40 percent as more trustworthy on handling Iraq, a striking increase in the narrow 49 percent to 47 percent margin Bush enjoyed in late June.

Even on the economy, previously Kerry's strong suit, Bush edged ahead 47 percent -46 percent, up from trailing Kerry 45 percent-50 percent a month ago, the paper said.

For the Nov. 2 election Kerry and Bush remain virtually deadlocked with 48 percent of registered voters supporting Bush and 46 percent Kerry, the paper said.

The poll of 1,202 randomly selected adults has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

I think the end is near for John Kerry. Look for Bush to win by at least 100 electoral votes.

Slipping? From a sperm suit straight into a slip, eh?

Oh, not that kind of slip? Drat, the other kind, right? OK, OK, I can take a hint: ''Kids, we're having bananas for dessert tonight! Benjie, get a FedEx box for the skins, will you, and somebody look up the rate to Boston for overnight.''

I'm even sensing that the predictable elite media has even had it with this guy. Every single one of his photo ops show that he's a dorky girlie man. The snicker meter is on overload already.

Now the follow-up song:

"To know, know, know him is to loathe, loathe, loathe him..."

Yea,,, who do you want to be President, with the war on terror going on?... a cowboy or a metro-sexual man in a sperm suit with a stupid grin on his face?

It is bad enough for the Democrats that the "dead cat" does not seem to have much of a bounce, but it looks more and more like the impact with the downslope is more like a crater.

Kerry's best hope is to "go dark" and let his surrogates campaign for him, because as long as the voters perceive him as "generic Democrat" his numbers against Bush seem to be a little better than when he is running with name identification.

But he is going to have to come out into the open some day. "Hail Mary" only works if the opponent is totally unprepared for the tactic to be exercised. And that play has been known to backfire. Badly.

Kerry will get a bump after the circus is over and may well lead Bush..that is untill the GOP convention and then its the end for Kerry and the Socialists.
Oct. is the time to watch polls. Till then its just plain stack the numbers to whichever way that pollster feels proper.

Fox News called the last election to a tea. I suspect theirs is/will be the best polls.

i don't think he gets much of a bump even after the convention. I do agree though that Bush wil be in control after our convention.

Funny, funny, funny. How do you guys come up with this stuff so fast? The RATS will be desperate at the end of the week when polls show him falling through the cellar. They'll have to come up with something to save him. Maybe he'll try diving out of a plane without a parachute or walking on water.

"The poll of 1,202 randomly selected adults has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points."

Notice - - Not Registered Voters, and Not Likely Voters.

My Dad used to say "people vote their pocketbooks."

The economy is good, and this guy fights terrorism. Bush.

The democrat is too longwinded. Hard to tell what he is saying. Like Vietnam, for example. Was he for it, before he was against it?

When he was against it, why was he still wearing his uniform?

Confusing, to undecideds.

People have now learned national security IS the ecconomy.

Al Queda is not targeting "things" they are targeting the ecconomy.

They attacked the World TRADE CENTER, not the buildings. The recent reports say they are targeting wall street. Even on idiot homoicide bomber blew himself up at a "wall street" cafe because it had the name wall street in the sign.

This is the dirty effort of the democrats. They are trying to divide the foreign from the domestic. The two are now conected forever.
