Socialists Join Communists in Backing Kerry
NewsMax ^ | 7/27/04 | Carl Limbacher

We've already reported how Communist Party USA has endorsed John Kerry for president, and now we're pleased to note that Democratic Socialists (isn't that redundant?) of America has chimed in as well.

"Kerry was hardly the first choice of our members. Most supported Dennis Kucinich or Howard Dean in the Democratic primary elections and would be very critical of Senator Kerry's voting record on trade issues, as well as his support for the resolution authorizing the use of force in Iraq; but the most important concern of our members now is to defeat Bush," said Frank Llewellyn, the socialists' national director.

What? They've now concluded that Kucinich can't bag the nomination?

With friends such as these, Kerry won't need any enemies.

Simple-- Democrats are Socialists who need to hide their true identity from gullible voters. Socialists are Communists who need to hide their true identity from gullible voters. Communists are Socialists who got your guns.

Hmmm, and liberals don't want to be known as liberals.

Funny how all these groups have to hide their true identities/intentions to get elected! Even they seem to know that their ideals are shunned by normal thinking individuals. But they have to disguise themselves to get elected.

I call that deceit. Or subterfuge. Definitely dishonest.

Definitely Democrat.

To be a Demoncrat IS to be a socialist, so what's new about this?

I do think it is hilarious that the Communist Party in the U.S. is backing Kerry/Edwards.

At the risk of bashing, here's mine: The way I see this, ideologically, Communism and Socialism are almost the same hue in the spectrum.

The difference lies in HOW each system comes into power.

Communism, almost universally but with a few exceptions, comes to power through violent overthrow of an existing political base; the Bolsheviks, and the Viet Cong, for examples. The political opposition is physically eliminated, or driven out.

Socialism, largely, comes into power through the manipulation of the election process. This gives the veneer to all observers of the legitimacy of their cause. I cite the rise of the NSDAP in Germany. After the attempted revolt in Munich - the Beer Hall Pustch (sp) - the Party proceeded to use the election laws to successfully secure their way to power. I should also mention the political power of the Democrats in America with that method, as well...

They really, come to the same endstate: the absolute authority and supremacy of The State over the individual.

So, Communism has infiltrated the socialist structure much like the way they hijacked the democratic party? Did you ever read the Communist Manifesto and the Muslim Manifesto? They too are almost identical.

Is that what is happening? Carnivoring?

No surprise at all. I am waiting to see when the Stalinists chime in. They are always the most realistic faction of the left. After all it was Stalin that coined the term "useful fools". I expect that all the idots will continue to believe the fiction that Karl Kautsky believed in that you can have "democratic socialism" as opposed to "democratic centralism" espoused by Lenin. Eventually it devolves into the "dictatorship of the proletariat" run by those who think themselves the "revolutionary vanguard" (ie. the revolutionary elite or first among equals). Well, guess what? Stalin liked to have all these useful fools shot first.

If Stalinists take over, they will hire Republicans instead. At least we believe in loyalty and have principles and we don't pretend to be something we are not.

kerry, testimony before Congress, 22 April, 1971, kerry says, "I have been to Paris. I have talked with both delegations at the peace talks, that is to say the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Provisional Revolutionary Government,...."*(not on any authorised mission by the U.S. Government or by the U.S. military, kerry and his VVAW group meets and negotiates with the then enemy).

*excerpted from the Official U.S. Congressional Record dated 22 April, 1971.

"revamp the U.S. military", read as kerry's plan to PURGE the U.S. Military of Pro U.S. Military Veterans and Republicans, make it totally dependant on U.N. forces support for any significant achievement capable military(similar to france, germany, etc.), Turn home based U.S. Armed Forces, Intelligence agencies and Law Enforcement agencies into the democratic party's{including CPUSA and DSA} Praetorian Guard!!!!

kerry stabbed U.S. in the back continually since his return from Viet Nam. How much more backstabbing from this 22 April, 1971 testimony(self confessed traitor) before Congress that he(kerry) met with the then enemy in Paris, are we supposed to stand????

It is a matter of semantics. Communism has never existed anywhere. Marx believed that was the stage achieved after the state "withered away". The only difference between the socialists who fancy themselves as "democratic socialists" and "communists" (in reality Leninists) is that socialists believed in the co-existence of capitalism and it's eventual evolution into a socialist state via democratic means. Karl Kautsky being the main proponent of this idea. Lenin understood that this was a false state. He of course believe in a command control economy and total control of the state over the means of production and "democratic centralism" (what he meant was dictatorship, the left likes using words to hide intentions).

It was Mussolini who came up with a variant, the socialist corporate state. The society would be divided into "syndicates". the social function of each syndicate within the corporate state was to perform it's particular class function. What mattered to fascists was not the actual "ownership" but "control" of the means of production. They would allow capitalists to exist, but the state would determine what they produced. Hitler and the NSDAP eventually copied that model.

In the 1960's the movement in academia that promoted a theory called "convergence" gained prominence both in Europe and the US. Under this theory the communists countries and the West were evolving towards each other. Communism was becoming more democratic (in their view) and democratic countries were becoming more socialist eventually the two would meet and we would end up with democratic mixed economies with a democratic façade. Of course Reagan, the Pope and the collapse of the Soviet Union put a whole new paint-job on the situation. However, these failed academics are not wont to admit they believe in failed ideas and are always coming up with variants.

There is of course the rantings of that Sardinian Gramsci, whom is quite influential among western socialist circles, but that is for another day.

They are not Vietnam combat veterans, but they ARE card carrying members of the Democratic Socialists of America's Progressive Caucus, a group ofUNPATRIOTIC UNAMERICAN subversives that are actively engaged in overthrowing the capitalist system of government in the USA and transforming it into a socialist nation.

"Progressive" is a code word for socialist, note that Sanders of VT is an officer.

Why these people are allowed to get on national TV and not disclose or be asked by the press reagrding their membership in a socialist organization is beyond me.

The table below was downloaded from the Democratic Socialists of America
