DENVER (AP) - Swabs taken from Kobe Bryant during a hospital exam found DNA from the NBA star and the woman accusing him of rape, but none from an unidentified person whose DNA showed up on other evidence in the case, the judge said in a sealed filing mistakenly posted Wednesday on a court Web site.
The defense wants to present the DNA evidence from Bryant's hospital exam to jurors. In the sealed filing, District Judge Terry Ruckriegle said the prosecution does not intend to introduce that evidence. The filing orders both sides to come up with an agreement by Friday on its use.
Bryant's attorneys have said they believe the 20-year-old woman had multiple sex partners in the three days before her hospital exam last summer, including one after her encounter with Bryant. Her attorney has denied she had another sexual partner in the 15-hour period before the exam.

Even the Judge tried to give him an out. The accuser was getting cold feet, and I bet he had to prop her up.

But, no other DNA was found.
However, when the accuser went to the hospital for the rape kit, her panties contained DNA from two men, neither of whom was Kobe.
This almost seals the deal that she had sex with someone after her supposed "rape."
I have no doubt that Ruckreigle does not want this travesty to go to trial.

Where was he swabbed? If the other claimed DNA was found in Kobe's swab how it change your argument -- would that mean Bryant is guilty?

In no way does it indicate any time frame at all if she did have sex with these men (and how do they know it is men's DNA), nor would it necessarily indicate she'd had sex with either of the men or other person's DNA.
I would not be surprised once the defense presents their case, that the Judge agrees with a directed verdict.
One of the loci they test for is for sex determination so they would know for sure if it was male DNA.
They probably were looking for "mixed" samples in her undies which would contain both sperm and epithelial cells from the female. They can then separate out the two different fractions (sperm versus non-sperm) and test from there.
One sample contained "live" DNA. Since semen only lives for a limited time, that's where the defense asserts that she had sex with someone AFTER her encounter with Kobe.

No, it's just harder for a woman who has sex with three men in 72 hours to prove that the rich black guy was the only one that was non-consensual.
There is no such thing as "live DNA".
What exactly do you mean in terms of molecular analysis that was done. DNA can exist for years and be identified. How is this "live DNA" evaluation done?
