FTAA -- Giant step toward world government

Millions of Americans are frustrated over the direction our country is taking. They know something is drastically wrong, but find it difficult to grasp what the real problem is. They think every crisis somehow boils down to Liberal vs. Conservative or Democrat vs. Republican. People suppose if they could just get the "right" political party into the White House, our country would be saved. I wish it was that simple, but our problem goes much deeper than that. Positive changes in our nation cannot come about unless the American people will accept the ugly truth that it doesn't matter whether our governing administration is Democrat or Republican. History shows that either way our country has continued its downward slide away from God and liberty toward atheism and socialism. Outside of a handful of "good guys", the goal of most of our politicians is to cancel our national sovereignty and replace it with an ungodly socialist world government.

We keep electing presidents that say they will "cut spending" and "get government off our backs" but of course it never happens. Most people are blind to the fact that for decades now every new administration, whether Democrat or Republican, carries on the same basic policies of the previous administration. These are the same policies that are vehemently denounced by the supposed "rival" party until they get elected to office. Suddenly the "old" policies from the last administration that we were told were so bad for us, become the "new" policies of the current administration and are good for us.

Remember "Hillarycare?" During her husband's administration, Hillary Clinton proposed a massive plan for socialized medicine in America that was severely criticized. We heard how horrible this plan was and how it would bankrupt the country. Then along came President George W. Bush and lo and behold socialized medical programs were passed with little criticism. "Capitalism Magazine" calls President Bush's expansion of Medicare at its core premise "an exact application of the Clinton health care philosophy."[1] It seems all we need to do is put a Republican label on a bill and then it's OK! Republicans call it "compassionate conservatism", but it is socialism just the same.

Right on. I haven't read the books but the "Object of Desolation" spoken of by Daniel sure sounds a lot like terrorism.

Agreed. It seems to me the UN is the first governing world body and that a seperate world body replaces this one. Revelations talks about heads of a dragon like goat figure.

Bush pandered to the seniors and took away one of the dims arrows in the election. It's called politics. I do not understand why people expect politicians to be their standard bearer in lofty ideals. Sometimes you get what you want but most of the time it's a compromise of some kind.

The only way you're going to change the welfare mentality of the people is by changing their hearts and minds. Where they lie, politics will follow.

NewsMax has an article today that states BILL CLINTON might be in line to take the Secretary General post of the UN if Kerry wins the election.

Imagine how many people would actually start voting AGAIN for a candidate came out who said "I support the US Constitution 100%, the Bill of Rights 100%, the Declaration of Independence 100%.

I am against sloppily giving away our freedoms, our liberty and our sovereignty.

I will support American citizens before I'll support anyone else.

I will bring our troops who are fighting for and defending the United Nations Charter back to the United States to defend this Republic from terrorists.

We need to remove the USA from the United Nations and with your support we shall do exactly that.

I will get us out of NAFTA and all of it's anti American rules.

I need your support to do this. I do not want to be owned by the international corporations. I need your individual support.

To do this I need your support, $10 a week from each family should get us on the road to Liberty once again.

$10 a week from each family will do it. We need to protect our children from socialism and corruption in our government agencies.

Please register to vote again and please support me in my fight for the America that our men died for in the American Revolution. The America that our Founders envisioned for us."

I think a patriot who put out radio advertisements saying the above would bring people out of their obvious disgust for our political system. People who haven't voted in 20 years would give this man a chance and would be willing to send in $10 a week.

I don't know. What will you say when they ask you what will happen to their Social Security, their food stamps, their prescription drug benefits, their affirmative action, their child tax credits. What will you say when they ask you what your position is on middle income tax relief, the progressive tax code, taxing corporations, union busting, the environment, etc.

BTW - I didn't know you were running for office, my comments do not infer a reluctance in supporting that.

I'm not running for office, medical reasons.

Most of what you are talkling about could smoothly disappear in less than one generation because they are tax supported.

Give the money to the people who earned it because they are the ones who will actually barter or shop for a bargain, not unwillingly support foreign nations who come begging because America is seen as rich. Dumb blond rich......we just give it away to anuyone who asks.
