A few weeks ago, for a flight on Southwest, they opened two boxes I had and took everything apart, including expensive dollhouse furniture that had been packed very carefully. Thank G-d, it all worked out. It was the same week as that Northwest flight that lady wrote about. But everyone knew that I would get off the flight if I saw any characters I didn't feel comfortable with.

OK everyone, I have arrived safely in LA. Thanks for all your prayers. There were no Arab Muslim guys acting weird on my flight. In fact I did not see any Muslims on my flight at all. Almost everyone was "Anglo-Saxon" or "African-American" with a few Hispanics and Asians.

My son was asked to remove his shoes and open his laptop and boot it up which I understand is now SOP for all laptop-carriers.

We picked up our rental car, then went into Westwood for carryout suppper and now we have arrived safe and sound. BTW LA drivers suck. Some idiot in an SUV passed me on the right at about 90 mph as we were driving up Beverly Glen (not the straightest yardstick or flattest plumbline in the toolbox) and I yelled "Asshole!".

My son was shocked. "Ma, you shouldn't use that kind of language."

I said, "What else do you call a bad driver in LA?" Or is that a typical driver?

Prayers for a safe trip.

I actually flew from Rhode Island to San Jose during the Christmas season last year when they raised the terror alert and was a nervous wreck.

I am happy to report that while the security was intense, it was not as bad as I thought it would be and my family and I made it to and from our destination safely.

Yeah, a typical driver. A "bad" driver would have squeezed off a few rounds in your direction with a large caliber handgun.

Since this is a Northwest Airlines thread (sort of), does anyone remember the article that came out in the last couple of days about the woman in first class who was on the same flight as the woman who wrote the original article about the 14 "musicians."

She spoke out to corroborate the original woman's story, which had been kind of dismissed by the marshals.

The article also mentioned that although the men were musicians and apparently had a legitimate gig, one of them had written an anti-American terrorist type song.

I'm trying to find that article, but I can't find it through the search engine.

There was a PDF file attached to the third Jacobsen article linked by Alouette at the top. It didn't say anything about one of them writing an anti-American terrorist song.

Two Others With Information About Flight #327 Have Come Forward

Heather, a business woman from Detroit, sent the following email to WomensWallStreet.com.

”Annie, I don't know what to say, except thank you. If for nothing else, you've confirmed
that I'm NOT crazy or suspicious or paranoid, and that for Pete's sake I should have
followed my instinct and spoken to authorities as you did.

I too was on that flight.

I had been upgraded to first class and with extreme fortune did not see much of what you
described. But I saw enough to make me extremely nervous. Because flight attendants
and passengers around me seemed as if nothing were wrong, I left the plane stupidly
feeling foolish that nothing had happened, feeling that I was a bad person for suspecting
something was wrong. Had I been sitting in my original assigned seat (32A) and had
seen you or other passengers feeling the same way perhaps I would have done more
than simply call my husband to tell him about the man in the green track suit with arabic-type
writing on the back of his shirt who literally pushed his way to the first class
bathroom, and stayed there much too long. And the people who kept coming up to the
front, though most simply used the restroom quickly and moved to the back, a few
(presumably including your husband) who spoke with the flight attendant at the front.
My husband heard your story on a radio program yesterday and recommended I contact
authorities since it sounded so similar to what I'd recounted to him. It wasn't until last
night when we read your article that we realized it was the same flight. I'll admit I'm
somewhat grateful that the same situation didn't happen on two different flights.”

Heather and I have subsequently spoken on the phone. She shared with me additional disturbing information about the “suspicious” behavior of these men before and during the flight. This information has been passed on to the House Judiciary Committee. Although Heather has requested that her last name be withheld, she has agreed to step forward and share her information with The Washington Times, National Public Radio (NPR) and the House Judiciary Committee.

I also received an email from a woman whose family was on the plane. She does not want to be identified at this time, so I will withhold her identity. Here is what she had to say:

“My husband and daughter were on that plane. When I picked him up from the airport, he
was shaken and when he told me the story he said he was scared to death. My husband
is not a small guy, and he made the comment that if these men stormed the cockpit at
once, there would be almost nothing they could do because there were at least 12 of
them. He made the comment that he was ‘ready to do battle.’ My daughter observed the
strange behavior from the men, and she was also very frightened.”

I hope this woman and her husband do decide to come forward. I hope others from the flight also come forward.
