Hi Ern, I use Paint Shop Pro. It's a good product and fairly intuitive. PhotoShop is way too complicated for me. PSP gives you most of the core functionality without the steep learning curve.

There's a ton of free tutorials that can be found via Google too. Makes it easy if you want to do something new and need a quick course.

Hiya lowbridge. I actually started with the original small image. Blew it up to 600X458 pixels, did some "edge preserving smooth" work on it, then tweaked the brightness and contrast. How's it look on your side? Sometimes it looks good here and bad on the receiving end.
