WASHINGTON – Today, former Minority Leader Richard Gephardt (D-MO) announced a new Kerry campaign squad in Washington.
“Each member of Senator Kerry’s Truth Squad should watch the Kerry Iraq Documentary and explain Senator Kerry’s position on the war in Iraq, I doubt they can.
“I doubt they will release Senator Kerry’s complete attendance record of Senate Intelligence Committee hearings, of which Senator Kerry missed 38 of 49 public meetings.
“In fact, I doubt that John Kerry’s Truth Squad will say anything about John Kerry’s 20-year Senate record including 350 votes for higher taxes, votes for deep cuts in intelligence and elimination of important defense systems.
“This Squad’s mission has everything to do with politics and nothing to do with the truth.”
