Vietnam flashbacks

She publicly admitted he had flashbacks? If so, the press sure buried that. If a Republican was known to have Vietnam flashbacks, the press would trumpet it as a sign of unfitness for office, of mental instability, etc. I can hear Rather: "The revelation that Republican front-runner ___________ suffers from post-Vietnam flashbacks raises new and troubling questions about the sensitive issue of the mental health of presidential candidates. Bob Schieffer reports from Washington . . . "

So, is she technically an African-American?
Yes. Jesse Jackson said so.

"TerAYza"

LOL Some take the high road; others the low, but the humor endures forever!

who makes Dean look like Mr. Rogers on Prozac.

Vivid image here of poor Fred Rogers in his zip-up sweater passed out over the trolley.

I'd like to see this run with a bit:

Is THK an African-American, or not?

Does that mean we must treat her with the same deferrence as the civil rights industry?

If she can't stand the heat during a campaign, what's she going to do if Jean Francois actually wins and she winds up as First Lady. Imagine her in that fishbowl life with every move she makes being scrutinized and dissected, along with her hair, her makeup, her wardrobe, etc. Her head will explode.

"With the help of media-savvy "handlers," Heinz/Heinz Kerry has toned down the rage -- at .."

Media-savvy? What a joke. If they were media-savvy, that weirdo would never have been allowed to speak at the convention.

And they would have never allowed Kerry to talk to a real live person at a Wendy's, much less a Marine.

These imbeciles learned nothing from the Clintons. I think Kerry is being undermined by his own "handlers"...I really do.

I will remember that you said it, BillyCrockett.

Methinks it might have been close to happening before his decision to toss his "hat in the ring", and the reason for it was to forestall the inevitable.

Mrs. Heinz seems pretty unhappy to me, and if it is true that she really was in love with Heinz, and married Kerry because of lonliness, it would explain her present behavior toward him.

Some of her present behavior might be explained by the possibility that she depends on drugs or alcohol to deal with the pain of death and loss, which never really goes away. It is not uncommon for people in grief to drink (or use Valium) more than is good for them.

I would not criticize her, if this is the case. But, if Kerry really loves her, he is mistaken if he thinks that being "First Lady" will fill the hole in her heart. If anything, it will have the reverse effect. The stress of campaigning cannot be good for her either.

Do not mistake my sympathy for her as a human being with support for her, or for Kerry's candidacy. People who have as much money as she/they do are not known for clear thinking about how to deal with life's problems. It is why so many of them totally mess up not only thier own lives, but the lives of people around them.

I wish they both would just go back to Nantucket, and hang out at the yacht club with all the other wealthy losers, and leave the rest of us alone.

I agree that if Kerry is having flashbacks (of his injuries??) the public does need to know about it.

Great article, thanks!

It reminds me of one other element of this harridan - her endless reference to "growing up in a dictatorship", etc.

I want just one journalist to ask her the question - "How many servants did your family have when you were a child?" It would be really odd if a doctor didn't have a comfy lifestyle in colonial Mozambique.

The potential answers can only enhance their credibility in the worker's party /sarc

spoiled [ spoyld ] adjective
1. ruined: severely or irrevocably impaired, for example, by damage or decay
2. overindulged: willful or selfish because of having been overindulged

In other words.....a real B!#%H.

Flashbacks? Damn right the public needs to know. I wouldn't be surprised if these two are both on medications.

I am increasingly convinced that we should for the most part ignore Heinz Kerry. After all, what did spending our time railing about Hillary get us? If you portray the wife as a beast, then the husband seems reasonable, tolerable, even electable.

sKerry is on the road and says and does enough that people need to see what a pompous, insuffereable, poll-reading danger he is.

Naaaahhhh. Two completely different sets of circumstances being conflated, here.

Hitlery was capable of craftily feigning sanity, for brief periods of time (which afforded her considerable protection); and her husband -- unlike Baguette Boy -- was powerfully charismatic, in his own right.

TerAYza, in comparison, is a deeply, deeply troubled... whatever. And, apparently, it shows: her negatives are only one point away from her positives, in recent nationwide pollings of voters impressions of her (vs. Laura Bush).

Plus... let's face it:

... she looks like Arnold freakin' Horshack. :)

'Some of her present behavior might be explained by the possibility that she depends on drugs or alcohol to deal with the pain of death and loss, which never really goes away.'

Judging by the caboose, it may be that botox never really goes away but works its way to a certain region and accumulates. (Sorry, - couldn't resist...believe we all look better if we just age naturally like the Lord meant us to...)

IN seriousness: this woman, who aspires to be First Lady, continues to refuse to make public her complete IRS filings. These would indicate just where some of her (inherited) millions are being dispersed - to which leftist organizations and groups.

If she would provide this information - which all former candidates and wives have properly done - perhaps her inner turmoil will be lessened. It is not impossible that her main problem is - just plain guilt.
