I really don't see the Toricelli option happening here. Instead I see something just as insidious happening--the BIG LIE strategy taken from Clinton's playbook. Kerry and his campaign, along with certain media people, are just going to lie and deny over and over and hope they can sneak across the finish line ahead of GWB. The Boston Globe reporters are already lying for Kerry. One reporter lied when he said he had accidentally misquoted Kerry saying "world leaders have told me they want me to win." He now says the actual quote was "more leaders..." What garbage; he didn't mistake a two syllable word for a one syllable word. Then today another Globie reporter apparently fabricated most of this story about George Elliot recanting his accusations against Kerry.

The mainstream media has become a propaganda machine for the Democrat party. I think we need the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (conservative paper) to investigate Kerry and lay out the whole story at least for talk radio and reading on the internet.

According to americanthinker.com Lt. Wright was just a ranking officer who sometimes served with Kerry on their missions. He also makes this clear in the audio. Could the thread's title be changed so we are not exaggerating the truth here?
Thomas Wright was one of John F. Kerry's fellow Swift boat officers in Vietnam. Since Wright outranked Kerry, he was Kerry's sometime boat group Officer-in-Charge, so Wright had occasion to observe Kerry’s behavior and attitudes, and the circumstances surrounding his early departure from the war zone. The intervening years have not dimmed his memories.

It's very important for our side to stick to the facts 100% of the time. Any deviation from the precise truth will hurt us more than the left, which has persuaded America to accept its lies about Vietnam for 40 years now.

My sugested title: Ranking Fellow Officer Asked Kerry to Leave Vietnam. You may have better ideas.
