Swift Photo (... and the Swift Boat Veterans Story Builds In Intensity! YEAH, Baby -- !)
Washington Times ^ | 8/5/04 | Greg Pierce

Posted on 08/05/2004 2:28:52 AM PDT by KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle

Swift Boat Veterans for Truth has posted a photo on its Web site, www.swiftvets.com, that shows just how little support Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry has among swift boat officers who knew him in Vietnam.

Twenty officers, including Mr. Kerry, are shown in the photo, but the Web site urges viewers to touch it with their cursor to see just how many support the Massachusetts Democrat's White House bid. Suddenly, only one man is standing near Mr. Kerry.

The Kerry Campaign had to have known that these stories would break one day. The only defense they've had has been to question George W. Bush's service records and to build up John Kerry as a "war hero" (as in, "How dare you question my service?").

The media never saw any valor in Bob Dole or George Bush 41's military service (in enemy fire) over Bill Clinton's "I loathe the military" dodge.

The media has tried to bury Kerry's post-service Vietnam War activities. Activities that could leave him branded a traitor (unfit for the presidency); lying/promoting propaganda to demoralize the troops and provide aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war. Then there are his war crimes.

The staffers at the Kerry Campaign need to realize that Benedict Arnold was a hero to both sides of the war as well. The big question is, "how did you finish out the war?"

George W. Bush has never tried to play up his Guard days as evidence that he is ready to be the saviour of all humanity as Kerry has done, based on his four questionable months in Nam.

Am wondering what the Kerry team has in mind to deflect the damage of this cannonball, coming at them.

If the frantic head-shakings and high-pitched choruses of "nuh-UH" taking place over at Terrorist Sympathizers Underground right now are any sort of indicator indicator: they're going to hide under the covers and pretend it really isn't there in the first place. :)

hmmm, interesting strategy. . .

Should that be the option can only say to Kerry: 'under the covers. . .under the bed; in the closet. . .to the attic. . .down the stairs, out the door. . .on or off the bus. . .night or day. . .the truth will hunt you down.'

Yippie KI YO
I knew it was just a matter of time some one would use the info skerry has provided. I knew I was not the only one who felt this way, about the skerry ad with pretty boy saying: "If you want to know about john skerry just ask the men who served with him".
Well
It looks like somebody took him up on it, and it ain't pretty for pretty boy or his Mate.
Then you have Max Cleland playing on sympathy, leaving the impression he is a combat wounded veteran. Max is NOT a combat wounded veteran. He was injured doing something stupid. A granade went off, I don't remember all the details, I just know he did not receive a purple heart for it, because it was not in combat.

Forgot about that. . .and then there is the 'kill the messenger' strategy; so probably the background checks are probably almost finished. . .

Truth is, these Veteran's are very brave. Think about it. . .they are openly taking on - exposing the fraud - of a man who is may assume the power of the presidency. . .

Knowing the dirty politics and scary politcs of these Demrats; would say that these Veteran's are still, bravely putting themselves on the 'front line' for their country.

Well, for one thing, they are saying it's a right-wing attack, just like the stories about the Arkansas state troopers procuring sexual encounters for Clinton, stories that appeared in The American Spectator and the Los Angeles Times. Only problem is, those stories were true. I expect we may not hear much more about Troopergate.

I think this analogy says it all...

MID '60's: Kerry goes out for his old high school football team...He spends all of his time claiming to be injured so the coach won't send him out onto the practice field to maybe get hurt.

THEN, he spends the rest of his life picking up chicks on the basis of being a football star that never was!

"They are totally clueless as to what kerry did in front of Congress"

And they will be totally clueless about what his fellow swiftboat members are saying unless the mainstream media picks it up. If it's not in the Wash. Post, NY Times and ABCCBSNBC then most of the libs or "fence sitters" won't know it's out there. Trust me. My parents only watch the alphabet channels and don't hear anything negative about Kerry, but do get an earful about Bush. They don't get the FOX channel. Anything I tell them is chalked up as "Republican propaganda". If it doesn't come from the mouth of Peter Jennings then it's not true. This story HAS to make it to the mainstream media or they are only preaching to the choir.

Does anyone know if it would be legal for the Democrats to pull a LAUTENBERG and replace Hillary for Kerry when they realize they can't win?

Just wondered. Not that the Democrats would care if it was legal or not.

Ya know - I sure hope that the swift boat vets have good tax returns for the past 5 years.

Democrats have been known to abuse the power of government for partisan purposes (ie: using the FBI to conduct research on political oppoenents, using the GAO and FBI to justify firing the travel office, firing all DOJ attorney's on a whim that some of them were hired during POTUS 40 and 41 regimes, abuse the regulatory power of the EPA to torment businesses that support GOP policies, etc, etc . . ,)

"Democrats have been known to abuse the power of government for partisan purposes."

Yes, their tax returns had better be in order. Surely they realize that everything about their lives and jobs is going to be turned over to see what dirt can be revealed, spun into a major issue, or manufactured if necessary. The only defense they have is that everything that happens along those lines should quickly become public knowledge.
