Pastor Green was prosecuted for his sermon in a January hearing, where he was found guilty of "hate speech against homosexuals" for a sermon preached in 2003.

Shoulda had a rag on his head, whilst preaching. They wouldn't have touched him.

Hi everyone,
Speaking as a missionary and an ordained Minister I find this article disappointing but not unexpected. The word of God is exclusive in that it states that is "The way, The Truth, and The life" and "there is no other name under heaven given to men by which they may be saved." And yes sexual immorality including homosexuality is condemned. These things may offend some people but those of us who take God at his word believe these things to be true. It is not a message of hate but of hope, God has made it possible for us to rise above the current human condition through his son. We can be more. Is that so bad? "Those who want to live a Godly life will be persecuted" that's why this article is sad but not surprising.

The minister's comments represented outrage over the jailing of a Christian pastor for preaching against homosexuality.

But, is it lawful to speakout about heterosexuals? If so, why? If it's bad for one group, it should be bad for both, no?

In the last couple of decades, we've seen a dramatic expansion of the political and religious freedom of people across the globe.

You look at this stupid law in Sweden and conclude that it is representative of the trend in the world. It isn't.
