Actually, my Screaming Eagle friend, if you read the transcript of Scott McClellan's gaggle today, the WH and the Campaign condemn all 527's. They don't mention the Swifties specifically at all. They surely did not condemn them.

I believe (if I am correct) the White House did not say specifically that they were flushing the Swift Boats group, but the CBS and other liberal mass media outlets spun it that way.

I just took a check over on DU. They can't even approach wheather or not this is true or not. They just are in Drudge is a liar, Republicans are liars, Bush is a liar mode.

Its called denial. The main thing is the hardline Kerry-ites and hard line Bush-ites won't be convinced one way or another on this.

However, millions of SWING VOTERS, UNDECIDED will be pushed away from Senator Kerry as a viable alternative as Commander in Chief, due to this.

This will make a lot of liberals and anti-Americans very very mad and angry. If I were a swiftboatee at this time, I'd be carrying or at least get some bodyguards. Those liberal Democrats play for keeps, and they are not going to like losing the Presidency a second time around to Bush.

This is how I flew above, the jungles there in Nam.

Hoffman: I was overall commander of swift boats....Kerry was in southernmost surveillance center...I knew him well because I operated very closely with him in many operations. Most of the operations were conducted with multiple votes. Van was in a prominent position up high on the boat manning the .50 cals.


Hannity: What did you see?

O'Dell:...Kerry lied about atrocities...the htings he wrote about were not true.

Hannity:(quotes Kerry on atrocities) Did you see any of the atrocities Kerry claims he saw?

O'Dell:...We did not commit atrocities. i never saw, heard or read any atrocities committed by swift boat sailors.

Hoffman (breaks in on Hannity): ...To this day, John Kerry has not testified to one specific atrocity.

O'Dell:...There were no specifics, nothing for the investigators to verify. Kerry's own testimony on his own atrocities were similarly vague.

I listened to Van O'Dell on Medved. The entire interview. He seems like a regular guy who felt he had to step forward.

If he's typical of this group, they're going to have a tough time discrediting them.

To the interview/callers - I thought he was well spoken, very clear, very specific. Like he said, just because some of those guys weren't on lurch's boat doesn't mean they didn't bunk together, and see each other in the water on a near daily basis.

I thought he was very credible.

Hannity is not doing a very good job of interviewing. He should have asked O'Dell about what actually happened when Kerry received his bronze star and PH. He is fixated on atrocities.

What a great thread! It gives me many smiles today that the White House is staring the kerry campaign straight in the face and not backing down for once. Let's see who blinks first.

I'm not listening to Hannity, but I was impressed with the ad.

It was simple, it was compelling, it was marvelously edited to have the maximum impact with the minimum of inflammatory emotion.

No yelling, no screaming, just the facts.

I thought it was the "best made" political ad of the season.

Why dont we ask the media to invite an equal number of "Band of Brothers" pro Kerry guys (that were on the boat with him as he says) and the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, for a once and for all debate, up jointly on the stage, live on national TV/Radio, with an impartial moderator, about this very hot/important issue and everyone's collective and individual NAM/KERRY memories.

That is one way to get the truth out.

Think the Kerry-ite Namvets would accept??
