I am trying so hard with my liberal friends and nieces!

The Florida recount and the democrats' disgraceful behavior keeps me on track, even when I disagree with some of President Bush's decisions. On balance, he has done a great job, and I know he loves this country and its people. John Kerry is the polar opposite and should never be considered for CIC.I agree completely.

I just read that ohioWfan is on her way to a meeting, but just in case you want to read it now, her daughter's question is posted on the transcript at the White House site. It was a great question and a great response!

No problem, I thought it was a wonderful exchange even before I knew it was ohioWfan's daughter!

**I saw Kerry saluting to some hard-hatted construction workers and laughed. **
My husband (former naval aviator) laughed out loud at sKerry's salute! sKerry's thumb was apart and to the back and his pinky was out a bit...his hand was curved.

What a great experience for you and your family, ohioWfan. How did it come about that your daughter was picked to ask a question?
Drudge has a good story up about how the Amish are waking up to the election and the need to help elect this godly man for 4 more years. Normally less than 10% of the Amish vote but they are as alarmed as the rest of us about some of the social issues this year. This could help in Ohio and PA.
A quote - In Ohio, Amish have begun reaching out to the state Republican Party to learn more about Bush, said party spokesman Jason Mauk. An estimated 55,000 Amish live in Ohio - more than in any other state.

What Pres. Bush did or didn't do in the classroom is a strawman issue. It is a Dem empty suit issue.

There are those people though who cannot debate issues in a reasonable manner. It's then that you shake the dust from your hands and move on.

We can sure hope that the Amish are willing to vote this time. They are great people, my mom used to take me up for weekends in Amish Country in Ohio when I was a kid and we met some great people. We had friends we would visit every year. I can see why they would like GWB, they are prinicled, Godly people.
