John tries to appear "statesman" like
as though he is above the fray, and has
let by-gones be by-gones.

Well, when the by-gone is traitorism involving
the dork who will say and do anything to get
elected POTUS, it is truly the time for McCain
to stand alongside his former POWS and the Swifties,
because in his heart, he knows the Swifties are
telling the truth.

Forget the scourge of dirty politics --- Kerry, Soros
and the DNC revile in it and this time our side is
fightig back.

The media go to McCain everytime, knowing he wants
to be seen as a statesman.

But I think he's right that ads about conduct 30+ years should have no place in this campaign.

Let me see if I understand your logic . . . it's okay for Kerry to make a centerpiece -- THE CENTERPIECE -- of his candidancy the fact that he's a Vietnam War HERO, yet those who have facts that can refute his bogus claim should be quiet?

Is that about right?

***By the way, if John Edwards issues a challenge about those who want to know John Kerry, spending 3 minutes with those who served with him 30 years ago, then what's his problem--when a 1 minute ad (time economy), with those who DID serve with him, for him, and over him, airs?***

very good point

Sen. John McCain attacked a group of Vietnam veterans on Thursday for their appearance in a campaign ad condemning Sen. John Kerry for betraying his fellow soldiers, calling the commercial "dishonest and dishonorable." But McCain himself complained about Kerry-led anti-war protests when he was released from the infamous "Hanoi Hilton" 31 years ago.

McCain is sure having a tough time playing it "down the middle" and cornering off his little section of the political spotlight. Its got to be tough for him, I suggest he stop talking to his Senate buddie.

Ain't it weird how power and position changes everything?

Now to McCain, war heroes are dishonorable and detestable.
