Still no confirmation from AP, UPI, Reuters, AFP, BBC, Dow Jones, al-Jazeera or Drudge yet.

"Any clear thinking American knows that the Iraq war has been a mess." ~ Bill O'Reilly

In all respects, has there ever ever been a war that hasn't been a mess?

Sory folks nothing new to report yet. John Carlson did say his source in Iraq said there is a news black-out until detals are gathered. I trust KVI's John Carlson and I don't think he would of mentioned this on his program if he didn't trust he was getting good info. He in an outstanding Washinton conservative and former candidate for Governor in Washington in 2000.

Side note about John Carlson - Rush Limbaugh came to the 2000 GOP Picnic in WA to stump for Carlson. This is the first time Rush stumped for any candidate. John lost anyway because he was facing a very popular moderate Democratic incumbant.

Detials? He either is or he isn't captured.

could this be a new Disney's song titled
Mutada Al-Sader after Kutama Matada on Lion King?

I want to have Nathan Lane sing this song with the Mutada Al-Sader's dirty night shirts.

This would be one of those that we would want to interrogate for a bit before those loyal to him knew that we got him. Perhaps that is the case now. Hopefully.

I'm also watching the Islamic Republic News Service in Iran. I believe the first reports of Saddam's capture came from there.

We're also going to want the Iraqi government to make the announcement, not us. If there's any legs to this thing, figure on hearing something around midnight PST.

O'Reilly was sucking up to Alec Baldwin with that remark.

Bill O'Reilly is such a fence sitter that I can barely stand to watch him anymore. I would say that overthrowing a Dictator on the other side of the Globe that had an army of 400,000 in a region that is a hornets nest of Islamic extremest who have been brainwashed by their leaders to hate the west is not an easy task.

We not only did it in record time, but the post war occupation will go down as very successful as well. Granted, we have lost far to many of our bravest and we should never forget their sacrifices, but here we are just 18 months from the day Baghdad fell and their is a provisional government up and running, and new currency, an independent Judiciary and 95% of the infrastructure is up and running. Elections are going to take place and the possibility of a free and democratic Iraq is on the rise. And that is just Iraq.

Afghanistan has also seen similar results. This is a success story and those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those who have been wounded in these operations will never be forgotten.

God Bless America

They would not be as enthusiastic about reporting this as they were when Saddam was captured. As for al-Sadr's reported capture ...... I'll believe it if and when we get confirmation. We've had too damn many of these types of reports go false after getting our hopes up.

Well, they are trying to catch him. Sunday attempt --->

Iraq army fails to capture al-Sadr during raid at his home

Saturday’s action culminated in the surprise move by Iraqi police and the Iraqi National Guard to swarm al-Sadr’s home and arrest him.

Washington here also and I heard it on KVI. Even though he didn't say who his contact was, I'd think it was Brian Suits. Brian Suits is the 6-9pm Host at KVI before his reserve unit was activated. We get Larry Eldar and Tony Snow on tape delay while he is gone.

That was my guess too, but I didn't want to say anything that could get him in trouble.
