I'm a strong believer in Prayer. Over the years I've asked for prayers for a couple of my Grandchildren. Isaiah and Breanna. Both are fine now thanks mostly to the prayers of Family, Friends and Freepers. Thank you all again.
This week I was informed that I have Cancer of the Esophagus. I won't go into the details except to say I have a good team of Doctors working with me. The Coach of my team is the Great Physician and I trust him completely.
They are hoping for complete remission after treatment of chemotherapy and radiation. Surgery may be an option later on, but it isn't now.
I am literally half the man I was a year ago, I have lost between 70 and 80 pounds, but some of that can be attributed to being diagnosed late last year with diabetes.
Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the strength of prayer that surrounds Militiaman7 as he begins his journey to complete restoration of health. Thank You that You will be with him in his waking moments ... You will be watching over him during the night ... You will speak to him of peace when anxiety appears ... there will never be a moment when You are not with him, such is Your love. May Your healing hand rest mightily upon him, and upon all those whom You are shepherding through similar trials. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
I will pray for you. There have been so many advances in fighting cancer that you have a great chance and add in the prayers and the miracles you have an even better chance.

Prayers for recovery
Instruct our Brother in the foods he should eat to aid his body in this effort. Calm and soothe his heart, and give him Your assurances daily that You are with him and love him. Care for all the other burdens he is carrying, so that he can devote all his time and energy to destroying this illness. Thank You, Father! Amen!

We bless you Lord for You are the God that heals. I loose the healing hand of Jesus. I take authority over cancer and destruction and bind you in the name of Jesus. You have no authority here. Fill your child with Your grace and peace. We will stand and wait for Your deliverance.
