I know Nick Lachey is a republican because I was watching for some reason Jessica Simpson show, and she said Nicke theres your boy George and it was Bush on TV.

Nick is a good solid man from southwest Ohio, and seems to have not gotten into all the trappings of stardom. I believe Jessica is from Texas...they make the perfect couple!

I'm glad to see all the others who support our President. They will get my entertainment dollars, as I prefer not to donate money to liberal causes by supporting the likes of Springsteen, BonJoni, etc.

Yes but that was 1976. The group has changed since then most of the members from that year are not with the group, either dead or retired. Those who are left are born again having gone through the life they lead. They no longer are about dinking drugs and wild parties.

Didn't Michael Gross play a nauseating liberal for many seasons of Family Ties? If he is really conservative, that must have made his characterization a delight for him!

John Rhys-Davies, who played Gimli the dwarf in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, said recently, "You introduce a Republican to another in Hollywood, it's like a meeting between two Christians in Caligula's Rome."

LOL, that's great!

Bob Burns, I forgot all about him, he couldn't handle the touring schedule (rumor). It's been a long time since I've listened to Skynyrd, they were the band of my youth. How many piss-poor versions of "Freebird" came through garage doors and from basements back in the day?

Among the finds was ditzy conservative Jessica Simpson, who's become a frequent White House visitor. Upon being introduced in March to Gale Norton, secretary of the interior, Simpson gushed, "I love what you've done to the place."

I thought she was joking, kind of clever I thought. Seems to me Jessica Simpson plays on ditzy more than she actually is. At least I hope so. :)

Who is the actor who has been working with U. S. soldiers in Iraq to provide materials for school children? He's done a lot to bring attention to all the good that America is doing in Iraq.

You are talking about Gary Sinise.

James Earl Jones (a former Army officer and NRA member) is probably a Republican backer...anyone know definitively? His words on the war in Iraq:

"All people have to be prepared," Jones said. "If we are going to be the police, we also have to be the guardians. We can no longer play games. I was not against the war in Bosnia. I was against it taking so long. I was not against the war in Somalia. Again, it took too long, and we didn't finish the job. We should've stayed and finished the job. About this pending war, I just think we should've finished that war the first time."

Very cool, I remember him as far back as My Bodyguard. I just spent ten minutes or so checking the message board out - he's quite a well-spoken guy. The fact that he posts as himself and spends so much time doing so refuting Kerry and supporting Bush is a pleasant surprise.

LG, check out the link in post 57.

Nick Lachey was also stuck at Newark Airport during 9/11, watched the whole thing from the terminal across the river as it happened. No doubt solidified his views a bit.

I did not know Gary Sinise was on our side. I know he was invited to some dinner at the WH when the previous liar in chief was in power. Maybe it was after "Apollo 13" came out.

I think another Gary, this one Oldman (or is it Oldham?) is right of center too. He did not like the left wing bent of the "Contender" movie he was in.

Gary O is also a big fan of radio host Phil Hendrie, who is another Democrat for Bush.

Accordingly, the media will wake up the morning after the election to find W has stormed his way to a 40+ state landslide victory and they'll all be scratching their heads about how they missed it.

From your keyboard to God's ears!

I've had the feeling for quite a while that the President will get at LEAST 55% of the vote.

Guess one can change. Johnny Van Zant has taken over vocals for his deceased brother Ronnie and sounds very much like him so it helps in keeping the memory of Skynyrd alive. But I see Johnny is a hunter and into guns and with the Confederate flag and being a southern band and all.
