Unless something has changed, military records (not military medical records) are available to the public under an FOIA request. I got one on someone about 10 yrs ago and the only thing blacked out was his social security no.

Well I may be wrong, I just don't know...
I thought our records were private. I never requested someone's records not even my own. LOL
