> The military engineers who were responsible for Hitler's ability to remain in power, were protecting the continued operation of the death camps just as surely as the low-level guards were.

Same logic that Al Queda used to attack civilians in the WTC, since they were tax payers whose money went to support the US military.

...at what point do you stop and let the small-fry go?

Never. His being a Nazi SS guard disqualifies him as a "small fry".

Geiser must've been barely 20 years old when the war ended.
Doubtful that he was in any position to give orders, let alone refuse 'em.

How about John Kerry? He was 27 and an officer when his admitted war atrocities took place.

Good point. My question is during his testimony to the Fulbright committee, was Kerry on ACTIVE Navy Reserve. If so, why were there no charges filed at THAT time? Was he under some kind of immunity?

Kerry is a commie, not a nazi.
There's so much fiction in his background that there's no telling what he actually did before he lied to Congress.

IIRC, at Dachau, a bunch of those "small fry" were dealt with in a... let's just say they were dealt with decisively and leave it at that, shall we?
