Help Expose Kerry! Print Out These Flyers and Hand Them Out!
FR ^

Posted on 08/17/2004 1:06:57 PM PDT by jmstein7

When I went on a solo FReep in NYC yesterday, I made up flyers that I handed out -- 100 handed out in 1/2 hour!

I strongly suggest that FReepers print out/xerox these flyers and pass them out anywhere you can to counter the DNC goons' efforts (and just to get the word out on the REAL John Kerry).

You can download the flyers HERE.  They are in PDF Format.  They also help the Swift Boat Vets.

Here is what they say:

The REAL John Kerry

“Yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I took part in shootings in free fire zones. I conducted harassment and interdiction fire.  I used 50 calibre machine guns, which we were granted and ordered to use, which were our only weapon against people.  I took part in search and destroy missions, in the burning of villages.  All of this is contrary to the laws of warfare, all of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions.”

-- John F. Kerry, Meet the Press, April 18, 1971

A veterans group seeking to deeply discredit Democrat John Kerry's military service will charge in the new bombshell book UNFIT FOR COMMAND:

·  Two of John Kerry's three Purple Heart decorations resulted from self-inflicted wounds, not suffered under enemy fire.

·  All three of Kerry's Purple Hearts were for minor injuries, not requiring a single hour of hospitalization.

·  A "fanny wound" was the highlight of Kerry's much touted "no man left behind" Bronze Star.

·  Kerry turned the tragic death of a father and small child in a Vietnamese fishing boat into an act of "heroism" by filing a false report on the incident.

·  Kerry entered an abandoned Vietnamese village and slaughtered the domestic animals owned by the civilians and burned down their homes with his Zippo lighter.

Kerry's reckless behavior convinced his colleagues that he had to go -- becoming the only Swift Boat veteran to serve only four months.

Those remarks were said to the Senate. I do not know if he repeated them on Meet De Press.

No. In the committee hearing, he accused OTHER soldiers of committing atrocities, not himself.

And here is something to email around. This graphic is one I created and posted on a thread yesterday. It is "copy right ready" and can be emailed out to the media or email lists, or posted on blogs:

I see. In the Senate, which he was under oath, it can be used against him in a court of law, while in Meet De Press, which was not under oath, he could said I was padding my resume. I see.

Slick Willie approves.

I think the flyers should make mention of the fact that Kerry has not, as he promised on Meet The Press, to release his full military records (as GWB has) because he knows they will confirm what the SBVT says, and list a number to call to demand he release them.

Here is another solo demonstrator and new freeper, Keisha. She has been standing alone in downtown Minneapolis for years in support of conservative causes. It takes a lot of courage to do what these solo freepers do. Congratulations to you, jmstein7 and to keisha. I am sending that flyer around to as many people as I can and asking them to pass them out, as I will do. Thank you!! Way to go!

Do you know anything about this?

"Long after he changed sides in congressional hearings, Mr. Kerry lobbied for renewed trade relations with Hanoi. At the same time, his cousin C. Stewart Forbes, chief executive for Colliers International, assisted in brokering a $905 million deal to develop a deep-sea port at Vung Tau, Vietnam - an odd coincidence."

Letters to the Editor Washington Times (recent but undated)

They love to snarl "Halliburton". I want to know if this is true aboout that port, contract, whether it materialized, etc., etc.

We need a flyer with Kerry's Senate record and distortions regarding the Senate Intelligence Committee Meetings he supposedly attended. And a morph of John Kerry to Bob Kerrey since there was a claim that he was the vice chairman of the committee when in fact it was Bob Kerrey who was.

Those young "Defeat Bush" clipboard-goons have also hounded me on 5th Ave usually between 37th and 42nd St. My retorts are either "No thanks, I don't trust Democrats with National Security" or "No thanks, I'm taxed enough already"

BTW, if their goal is to "Defeat Bush", then aren't they preaching to the choir in NYC? ...it's not like the New York electorate is "in play".

Also, they're hardly part of a bold rebellious grassroots movement when their views are merely conforming with those of 4 out of 5 NYers.

You, jmstein7, on the other hand defy all convention by challenging NYers with the facts of the fraud Kerry really is!!!

The IPW poster is an excellent graphic that deserves to be widely circulated.

It perfectly gets out the public message that the Swift Boat Vets are concentrating on - and to which Kerry and the media are conspicuously and shamefully avoiding an answer.

Graphics usually have far more impact - and immediate impact - than written appeals. A poster graphic like this one grabs the attention with "Vietnam" - the viewer will proceed to read the text.

Nice to hear from a 'newpaper man'!

I, too, worked in the newspaper biz... and was an art director for many, many years (ad agencies, creative houses). We would run articles with information so compelling... and yet to get folks to read it was, well, discouraging.

About a year and a half ago, I joined forces with a longtime Republican political consultant and a PAC was formed (IowaPresidentialWatch) with the intent of countering the barrage of Dem presidential wannabee candidates' coming into our state: Iowa. As first in the nation for caucuses, these nutz show up 2 years before the real campaign and just run rampant through Iowa with their lies, distortions and crap against Bush, his administration and Republicans in general. Our website's motto "Holding the Democrats Accountable" is no joke. We have been on this since BEFORE day one. And very early on, it became apparent that what really got the message nailed was.... the cartoons.

So, we've grown from a website that got maybe 1000 'hits' a day to one that now gets close to 50,000 hits a day. Why? The cartoon graphics. I make them "copyright-ready" so people can legally copy and paste them into emails, onto blogs, print them out... anything, as long as it isn't done to make a buck.

So, that's the REAL story behind these goofy things I keep posting on FreeRepublic. They are having tremendous impact. I get astounding emails from service men (got one from an Army Captain just today... made me cry), relatives of service men, angry Dems & lefties, Poland, Great Britain, New Zealand... and more, if I stretch my tired mind to remember them all. And these are just the folks who take the time to email me.

Newspapers often sell due to their political cartoonists' stuff... e.g. Duffy with the Des Moines Register and Frank Miller before him. As a fellow Iowan, I hope to continue this tradition, albeit in a newer venue of the Internet.

FreeRepublic has been absolutely instrumental in getting the graphics and cartoons infront of peoples' eyes. I am extremely grateful to Jim Robinson and the many hard-working Freepers who diligently, faithfully do battle on behalf of conservative values.
