Oddly, one of the best things we could do to help prevent terrorism in the US is to restore full force to the Second Amendment and use the citizen militia to help patrol our borders.
Imagine 80 million law abiding gun owners with their full Second Amendment Rights, instead of our hamstrung 2A right now. 80 million is a lot of extra crime preventors out running around.

As long as Bush doesn't screw gun owners, like his father made the mistake of doing, he's got my vote this fall. I just wish he was more pro-gun rights than he is.
Hmm...if the sole purpose of a military is to control the homeland (it might start OUT as "defense", but we're talking government control here), we're talking a whole new and awful way of life. If the Lefty-tarians want independence from the government, this is NOT the way to get it. What lunatics!
