Actually Iran does'nt get the kind of weapons that say,India or China gets access to from Russia.Their Mig-29s are only good for airdefence & their BMP1 & 2 & T-72 tanks are not exactly state of the art by Russian standards.

Also, nuke could be smuggled into one of Arafat's territories. It may be easier this way than launching on some sort missile.

Y'know everybody worries about the smuggled nuke, and rightly so. It is the one scenario in which there is no clear defensive strategy. However, from the attackers point of view this option isn't very attractive when compared to a missile. You spent 100's of millions of dollars to develop one of these things and you are going to turn it over to a bunch of AK toting crazies? I doubt it.

Any 1st generation nuke is bound to be crude -- meaning large. It isn't going to be easy to arm, either. The nukes that we used against Japan were armed by the same scientific teams that built them. These guys were PhD's. I don't see some semi-literate Hezbollah crazy doing this.
