The new version of Sen. John Kerry's Cambodia experience is also not true.
Sen. Kerry patrolled from An Thoi on the 94 boat and also from Cat Lo on the 44 boat. There was no way to enter Cambodia from the An Thoi patrol area. That patrol area started at the coastal fishing village of Ha Tien and ran parallel to the Cambodian border, but there was no way into Cambodia. Any good map will show this to be true.
From the Cat Lo patrol area around Sa Dec, it would have been possible for a boat to enter Cambodia, except there were concrete barriers, river-assault group boats and PBRs guarding the entrance.
Anyone entering Cambodia at that location would have known with complete certainty what they were doing.
It just never happened. Sen. Kerry is not being truthful, and it can be easily proven by interviewing his own selected band-of-brothers. The claim that there were so many rivers and canals, and that no one knew where they were, is ludicrous. We had detailed maps and overlays that showed everything right down to movements in fishing stakes.
I drove a swift boat for a year in 1969, and I still remember all the patrol areas.
Also, a single swift boat never went anywhere alone. It would have been way too dangerous. A second cover boat would have gone along. That means the crew of that boat would have also known they were going into Cambodia. Where are the crew members and officer of the cover boat?
Again, it just didn't happen.
Why has the old media let this slide? Sen. Kerry will say anything if it suits his personal political agenda. His Cambodia lie is just like his atrocity lie when he came back. They served his political purpose when he said them, but neither is true.
I'm not a member of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, which can be verified. I also will not vote for either Bush or Kerry because I'm anti-war. I don't think we should be in Iraq. However, I am for the truth.
you are right and one of the most compelling witnesses because he is opposed to Bush on Iraq.
it never ends....
I'm posting on a Buffalo forum right now.
The question is "who will you vote for?"
3 for kerry so far, I love stirring up the pot over there..
Send this to Rush and hannity!! The more these "little white lies" get out the better...the snowball is starting down the hill, it's up to us to get these truths to public people so that snowball can start racing and getting bigger until it smashes kerry at the bottom...
Liberals are voting for Kerry, liar or not. Specifically, they are voting against Bush, not FOR Kerry. Ignorance abhors truth.
I read on another thread that Brinkley has been hired as an NBC analyst.
One way to shut him up.
[Sen. Kerry will say anything if it suits his personal political agenda]
Didn't take us long to find that out!! Thanks for the ping I.T.
This guy MUST be paid by the Republican attack machine....
Excellent testimony by one who knows. And more credible because he isn't politically motivated. Thanks for posting it.
It's my understanding that Kerry is REFUSING to allow interviews of his "band of brothers"............any information on the "service record" is screwed, glued and tatooed by the Kerry Interview fascists!! Scarborough was refused an interview tonight for his show on MSNBC and I believe Hannity was stood up this PM on his radio show.......Kerry campaign said first they would send someone, then they didn't and no one showed up.......they are in a huddle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How dare you question John Kerry's ability to not know where the f#*k he is!!
Kerry's accusations against the Bush campaign just make this bigger...It causes controversy so it will get more attention..GOOD!..
Finally someone is noticing that Kerry is spinning fantasy...
Also, our local tv station (WCHS) did a halfway fair analysis tonight. They made sure to leave a few easily refuted RAT claims untouched, of course, but quoted former local Swifty turned Texan (Chenoweth?, I think) in his charges. Of course, like all mainstream media, they made the point that it's paid for by a Texas fatcat "linked" to Bush. No mention of Soros and his ties to the RATs.
I have so far talked at least a dozen people from Buffalo out of voting for kerry and for President Bush.
They need to be educated, I wish I got paid to do this, I could get more.
I think the Kerry folks pulled back today knowing the NYT hit piece was coming. IMHO, the article was poorly written citing several quotes without context and using rather twisted logic to attempt to connect the Swifties to the Bush Administration. I expect to see several of the Swift Boat folks out front and center placing the quotes in context and thus pretty much neutralizing the article.

Epiphany for a new tagline!
I tried to email this to Rush and Hannity but they bounced back for some reason..I couldn't understand the code...someone get this to people who have a microphone...every conservative radio talking head you can think of!
Nah, Algore was inventing GPS and JK had a beta version LOL
The swamp monster is coming for Kerry.
Kerry is as big a liar as Clinton, he's just not good at it. He doesn't think ahead. He's like a five-year-old caught in the cookie jar each time he's caught, and unlike Clinton, hasn't taken the time to figure a prompt and convincing lie in advance. Clinton would not have been so stupid as to use the Swifties photo on his website - this takes away Kerry's deniability, and I bet it's mentioned in the next Swiftie ad. I'm sending them another $25.
In its seventh printing with 350,000 copies due next week. Wow.

"As everyone must surely know by now, John F. Kerry came on board GRIDLEY as a boot Ensign when we returned from our 1967 Westpac Cruise. He remained on GRIDLEY through the 1968 cruise. Politics aside, shipmates of the time who have read TOUR OF DUTY, the authorized campaign biography, will have something to say about the chapter on GRIDLEY."
READ ALL OF THIS!!!!
I question the timing of the release of this... ;0)
(Oh, and IT? Great work you've been doing!)
Is that a trick question? ;-)
Bump!
They (Swift Boat Vets) have been on top of this from the git-go!! I was really happy to see that when the stuff started really hitting the fan, they were releasing statements refuting any lies and half-truths within HOURS. These guys are NOT backing off......they have truth on their side!!!!!!!
About Kerry:
*snip*
He has slid from one side of this formula to the other as the situation requires, and only a few of his hostile fellow veterans have been so crude as to point out that, by his own logic, he is a war criminal.
"I never wanted to be a professional veteran," he protested to a reporter during one of his early political campaigns. But of course that's what he's been, unavoidably.
In his public presentation, he is a dour, pompous, and unlikable man.
His political career--and his success during this presidential campaign, when his fellow Democrats ache for a candidate who will appear strong on "national security"--is unimaginable without his extraordinary service in Vietnam.
God knows, and experience proves, that he won't shut up about it. It has become his own personal bloody shirt.
Kerry's eagerness to bring up his military service at every opening strikes many people, including all Republicans, as opportunism, as just one more instance of an ambition that will exploit anything on the path to its own fulfillment.
But there are other possibilities, if we can briefly extend him the benefit of the doubt. It might also be the way a reflective man responds to an experience he's never quite been able to get over.
And because he can't quite get over it, he doesn't want us to either. This may be narcissism, but it's not opportunism, necessarily, and in any case it's perfectly understandable, and probably not worth criticizing. (Oh, I think it is <<<---my comment)
Brinkley writes at great length about Kerry's antiwar activism and only a bit less about his later political career.
For anyone interested in these phases of the story, however, "Tour of Duty" is nearly worthless. His devotion to Kerry is simply too large. More at the link
Another comes forward -- to expose Kerry's revised Cambodia story as a lie.

Thanks for the ping Maeve. Having read Unfit for Command I think that everytime he opens his mouth he's lying.
Found this site by a Swift Boat guy that shows Sa Dec. Interesting stuff...
http://www.pcf45.com/sealords/sadec/sadec.html
Ha Tien, from what I've been able to find, is right on the border with Cambodia. The waterway defines the separation between Vietnam and Cambodia. It is little more than a canal. Also, it doesn't go into Cambodia. Seems strange to send a Swift Boat into that small canal just to have it beach itself on the other side. The mysterious hatless CIA guy could have swam across it in five minutes and have been on the other bank, and certainly attract less attention than Kerry and his 50 feet of Swift Boat.
Kerry's lies are catching up with him.
Shambodia was a black op--the only agent with a need to know was. . .Shambo. . . .

Well, I'm sitting here wondering what I can post to that and all I can think of when I look at him is 'The Monster Of The Black Lagoon'!!
The truth is seeping out the cracks; and down the sides. . .
that said. . . I cannot understand those who are 'anti-war'. More people killed by totalitarian regimes than from wars; is that more peaceful or acceptable?
Hundreds of thousands of innocent, men, women and children can be made to 'disappear' by a Government leader; without creating anymore than a 'ripple' of interest or concern.
A hundred people - even less; can be lost in a war; a battle; a skirmish; and the same people who sleep through a genocide; are drawn out of their beds; and into their 'anti-war' refuge.
Even in the Ecclesiastes we have 'There is a time for war. . .and a time for peace'.
You have the monster!! Your way with words never fails to amaze me, LOLOL.
Did anyone else hear that great article by Gongressional
Medal of Honor winner, Gen. Patrick Brady, read by "The Great One" tonight on his show??? It was incredible and should be printed in every newspaper in America!! I hope to get a copy and pay for printing it in our local paper. This man should be asked to speak at the GOP Convention.
Lying sack of !@&^ Bump
Good news!
