The 'peasents' accepted and embraced. If I didn't do this (this coalitin postings), I would be right there with you in the "expel all muslim" mode. But their stories sounded the same as my grandma's. THIS is the only reason for my questions.

This point of yours was coupled with American in Israels post above. He pointed out, that the refuges never left the main problem, Islam. That fits with your statement and making me go "hmmm" differently.

I don't doubt the faith of these Christians but I also do not deny the rabid antisemitism that they spouted.

I hung up that friendship over this matter.

Some friendships are of convenience and some are just plain not salvageable.

I would not like to lose friends but sometimes there is just a lost cause.
