The Kerry campaign has told Salon that the publisher of "Unfit for Command," the book that is at the center of the attack on Kerry's military record by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, is retailing a hoax and should consider withdrawing it from bookstores. "No publisher should want to be selling books with proven falsehoods in them, especially falsehoods that are meant to smear the military service of an American veteran," said Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton. "If I were them, I'd be ducking under my desk wondering what to do. This is a serious problem."

Even some uncomfortable Republicans might breathe a sigh a relief if "Unfit for Command" were to vanish from bookstores: "I don't think the Swift Boat Veterans are helping the Republican cause," Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn., remarked on CNN Thursday.

he could silence them in one day by simply authorizing the release of his full military service record.

Exactly! Bring it on Kerry.

To be fair, he is a girly-man. It's only natural for him to look like he's about to cry.

Just bend over, John, grab your ankles and squeeze the eyeballs real tight.
Your words reminded me of a different "Squeeze"
Keep it up. Squeeze harder. Some blood needs to leak from our eyeballs.
Do it. Squeeze, baby, squeeze.

LOL, it's hard to beat the classics!

Say, speaking of guns, I wonder why the boys at Salon and the DNC didn't call for the removal of "Arming America" by that guy Bellesisles. That book had so many lies in it, Emory U. fired the tenured professor who wrote it. But not until a year or so went by and the book had reached market saturation.

What - millions more will read the book than will ever view the ad? I had no idea a wee book could change the course of history. John F*ckin' can't handle the truth and pointed questions. He's worried about all those lost votes. In his own phrase, "bring it on!!!"

Now THAT my friend would be poetic justice. Nothing like seeing the anti-free speech liberals hoist on their own "anti-coordination" petard.

Shays is in the wrong party. He's doesn't know the meaning of truth or loyalty if those concepts hit him in the face. He's NO conservative.

That's easy to answer...Because they liked what it said.
I'm all too familiar with the case.

I'm not impressed with bitching and moaning. But hey, liberals love to portray themselves as victims. That's what they're good at - blaming this country's people for all the things that go wrong in their stupid lives.

More like a Mexican standoff. John F*ckin's balls are squeezed in a vise and he's in pain and the only thing he can do is call the Swifties names. Sooner or later, its going to implode and my guess it when it comes down to who is standing last, it won't be Kerry when the smoke finally clears.
