To settle this whole mess, all Kerry needs to do is to release his records. He won't because he understands what will happen when and if does release them.

I find the whole situation very funny. Folks like David Korn are put in the position of trashing the swiftboat vets as "bought and paid for by repubs", while at the same time not even attempting to challenge them on the merits of what they are saying. Because they can't. The NY times is simply more of the same. They miss the point--nobody cares about stupid supposed connections to rove; The issue is one of truth. Who is telling it and who is not.

The swifties are telling the truth, kerry knows, the NYT knows, moveon.org knows, and even soros knows. That is the problem. They are scared because, I think, their internals are showing them that the voters, (by and large), know this as well.

The WP wants circulation numbers to go up. Watch this unfold. It will be fun. What we saw in the WP this morning is a teaser.

The NY and LA Slimes hasn't figured it out yet.

"To: Beckwith
O'Neil will be on Fox within the hour.
This story is dominating the news this a.m.

Somebody tell Kerry his ship is sinking and this time he's really under enemy fire."

Well this answered a very important question. Why hasn't Kerry given up his Senate seat.

Senator Edwards to the Green room please.

O'Neill has been on Kerry's case since 1971. Did the 2004 Bush machine use a time machine to travel back and plant these seeds? If this a sinister shadowy attack squad that the Bush VRWC has conjured up out of nowhere, they've done an amazing job of creating 33 years of falsified history. And a damn poor job of concealing the identities of these sniper assassins.

Also, why is it that the puppetmaster billionaires backing Bush can only come up with a measly $250,000 for this last desperate attack against the Kerry juggernaut?

"The NY and LA Slimes hasn't figured it out yet."

I think that they have, and that is the problem. Kerry has stepped into it, and the more that the media tries to bail him out the deeper he sinks. A std form 180 would put this to rest, but kerry and his ilk know that it would put it to rest in a fashion that they do not want to contemplate.

Now the libs are trying to keep the book from being published. Contrast the Bush campaingn's reaction to slob moore's propaganda to kerry and his friends in the press.

The libs are melting down.

Truth be told, vets have long memories, and they are telling the truth now because now is when it will doing the most good.

The new swift boat ad will really send the libs spinning....

Well yea we know that there is no connection, and Kerry is just freaking out and acting paranoid. But why is this paper pointing it out? Like the Boston globe yesterday (among others) calling Kerry on his flip flop over troop realignment. Could this be the media's general desire for blood getting in the way with their love affair with Kerry?

The NYT's is the Kerry attack dog. I think the WP likes to also try to undermine the NYT. Unfortunately, a lot of liberal papers will carry the NYT two page hit piece on their front page and the WP article will get page A-23 if at all.

the Dems think there's a connection btw Bush and Swift Vets, but refuse to consider whether there's a connection btw bin Laden and Hussein.

Appears as though the WaPo is getting weary of the Kerry Kool-Aid.

It's an amazing drink. It changes flavors between sips.

Re: "Instead of rebutting each charge, Kerry blamed Bush for sanctioning such highly personal attacks," the Washington Post said.

The interesting thing about this is that they assume a connection between Bush and SBV4T because there is a connection between Kerry and McCulliffe, Moore, Carville, etc. These guys have been pushing the NG AWOL story for ages.

Independent 527 ads can backfire. Bush has to keep his distance simply because they're not orchestrated. If he demonstrates any control over SBV4T, the RATS will try to hang him on campaign finance violations.

I don't think a liberal press will let Kerry suffer any direct damage from SBV4T but they can't prevent Kerry from veering "off message" to address the issue. That's the real value to Bush--it makes Kerry play defense at a time when he needs to play offense.

You are against proving Kerry is a liar?

Only when it's beaten into the ground. Look, the fool proves himself a liar!

We better realize how to get out of his way when the time comes before the focus is totally reverted too the reverse of Kerry's foibles...
