My point was that basically, Runyon is trying to back-up the Kerry story but cannot explain where the injury came from
because there was no grenade launcher and could not remember receiving any incoming.
Where then did the "shrapnel that was removed by Dr. Letson come from?

I forgot to add that I do believe Dr. Letson when he says that the metal was consistent with grenade schrapnel.
My question remains that since Runyon can't explain it as coming from a grenade, exactly how did that 3/4" pencil lead thick piece of metal get stuck in the poodle's arm?

So the "FOCUS" til the election is NOT going to be on Kerry's dismal senate record, but this VN thing... Think of the GWI strategy, Saddam was fixated on the notion that the main attack would be amphibious and directly from the south from SA. It didn't turn out this way and the 100hr war was fought in the vast, trackless deserts to the east at a time and place of our own choosing.
Kerry and the MSM are approaching the SBVs in the same way - tunnel-visioning on this issue and leaving his years of political history to be exploited at "just the right time" by Bush. This is not a matter of co-ordination between Bush and the SBV but a problem of the Democrats and the MSM not vetting their nominees so they wouldn't have a Presidential candidate so vunerable on so many fronts.
Sucks to be Kerry.

My answer is "Know your enemy". Unfit for Command is documented, footnoted with affidavits. If an event couldn't be confirmed, it was not reported on.
John O'Neill is an extraordinary ethical lawyer. He is a man of principle. Would I believe O'Neill over Kerry -- in a heartbeat.
We all have know a "John Kerry" in our careers.
Kerry can't even get the dates right about the Berlin Wall and his fantasy ride through at twelve years old -- it hadn't even been built when he was twelve. I believe he would have been closer to 18 in 1961.
No, I don't believe everything I read. I take Reagan's advice: Trust, but verify!

Yeah I agree with you and I really understood what you were saying to begin with.
I was also trying to draw attention to the fact that the press has zero military knowledge and zero investigative interest when the subject is a rat.

Kerry and the MSM are approaching the SBVs in the same way...Here's what I fret about. Kerry is a bumbling, spinning fool. Is this thing going to cause a focus shift off of his incompetence onto whether or not the SBV are credible?
