I just get the feeling that we're seeing the beginning of one of the biggest political meltdowns in our history.
Wouldn't that be sweet? Still a long way to November 2nd though.

Cutter said that if charges about his service continue, Kerry will "talk comparatively" about his military record and that of Bush, who has been shadowed by questions about whether he fulfilled his required service while in the Texas Air Guard. It's beyond question that Bush had enough flying hours. Further, he flew in a jet that had a horrible record for being in a killing machine of it's pilots. You didn't just let anybody be a pilot of a jet.

Bush has a war record?
I think almost 3 years of a war on terror as Commander in Chief qualifies as a hell of a war record.

The thing is, Bush has never questioned or commented on Kerry's service. He even thanked him for it (I don't why he did, though).
Kerry has totally reached rock bottom. I never thought I'd say this, but he makes Clinton look like a gentleman.
To: hflynn
you are right. Further, Bush server honorably in the guard, was honorably discharged and never accused any of his brothers of war crimes.

If they had chosen Dean as the nominee, Vietnam would not be an issue, nor would military service. I sure wish they had stayed with him, this blast from the past is just too ridiculous for words. And it's painful for the many honorable Vietnam veterans out there to have to re-live that difficult era yet again.
But if the media, Terry McA and Kerry want to fight this on honorable military service, Pres. Bush is the one who should say "bring it on". He has revealed all the documents he possibly can. Kerry has lived for decades on hallucinations, fraud, forged and imaginary heroics. He will regret this national campaign forever, no doubt about that.

the best thing to do is turn your boat into the attacker Kind of an unintentional admission that he was running from the fight to begin with.

I'm starting to think the RNC secretly implanted a mind control chip in Kerry and he is unwittingly doing and saying everything that VP Cheney orders him to. What other explanation is there for Kerry acting like such a big dummy ?

I'm starting to think this may be where we start to see the Kerry campaign really start to crumble. It's clear that Sen. Kerry was upset by the luke warm reception he received earlier this week from Veterans. This brought about his angry rebuke of the Swift Boat veterans recently and his intention to attack Bush for it. But Kerry's people have been dillusional, to think touting Kerry's service record will shore up the support of Veterans. Yet the absolute worst thing for someone running for office to do is to lose their cool. And Kerry certainly has lost his. Not many make it back from this.

This is a huge trap set for Kerry. He has to be a complete imbecile to fall into it.
Bush would never run on his Vietnam era record. He can run on his C&C record for the past for years. Kerry will be washed away in a debate on this.

Let's see - Bush's war record:
Commander in Chief of the world's greatest country during the war on terror.
Gonna be hard to beat that.

If you watch the old debate between Kerry and O'Neill Kerry sounds like Thurston Howell III.

Kerry Lies
War Criminal or War Hero,
See both you cannot be.
You claimed you burned a village,
Sounds like a crime to me.
Cambodia in Sixty-Eight,
You say that you were there.
You said Nixon said you werent,
Just why would Nixon care?
He wasnt even president,
Till Nineteen Sixty-Nine.
But details never bother you,
Bold lies do suit you fine.
Three Purple Hearts for paper cuts,
A Bronze and Silver Star.
Then home you came, threw them away,
But look now, there they are.
You testified with still more lies,
About brave fighting men.
The things you claimed that they did,
Just arent true now or then.
So tell us please John Kerry,
Which lie we should believe.
Oh what a tangled web you weave,
You practice to deceive.
