I thought the newsbreak said FCC, but the ABC article seems to say FEC.
The news of a legal challenge to the Swifties just caused me to donate to them AGAIN! Keep it Up.
The more outrageous their conduct gets the more they push those much lauded undecided voters toward Bush in my view.
The FEC declined to rule on 527s (the groups running these ads) until after the election.
I don't think the FEC can rule on this complaint before ruling on the 527s.
Actions speak louder than words.
The Dems don't want Vets to speak, don't want the military to vote.
This should show everyone how serious the Democrats are. They are willing to do anything to squelch speech that disagrees with them.

Hah! Now this is rich! First, freedom of speech is constricted by McCain-Feingold, and John Kerry is attempting to block the big loophole in the McCain Feingold bill. Only problem here for Kerry is that if SwiftVets go, so does Moveon, and the rest of the 18 billion 527's that the democrats have abused to try and get Kerry elected. Kerry continues to amaze us by flip flopping on everything- even his 527 strategy!!!

There's no way there was any coordination with the Bush campaign. The Swift Boat Vets are political novices, so Bush & Rove would never coordinate or associate with their group even if they admire the courage and professionalism of the group.
Banning Books, Banning Ads.... there will be rioting in the streets if this POS keeps this up.
I don't think they want to open up this can of worms. It'll cost them in the end because more Dems are affiliated with 527's. Hannity is just saying how Harold Ickes and Bill Richardson are both Democratic Party Officials, but are associated with 527's. Richardson is on the planning board of a 527.
