But, like someone said on another thread today, when you have the truth on your side, you don't need a lot of money.
Note to self:
1. Cancel car insurance
2. Write letter to agent explaining the "boss" of his company is an idiot and that I don't do business with liberals pieces of America-hating scum.
3. Drive slow until I can get State Farm.
I have been in the securities business for many years - if any one invidual controlled more than 5% of a company, it had to be disclosed and he also would be deemed a control person (if he were a founder on the board or an officer.) If any of these "independent" individuals has contributed more than 5% of the assets of a 527 and was an officer, director or 5% contributor of any other 527, then he should be considered as a matter of fact a control person and the entities related. Where is the f**king press on this matter...does not the so-call independent, hard-charging, investigatory press have any professionalism left?
Yeah, but are any of them Texas Republicans?
If you click on each name you can see which organizations they contributed to.
Oh, thanks. Did you verify each already?
The top 3 on that list, Lewis/Soros/Bing, are definitely big liberals. Their contributions alone are more than the rest of the list combined.
Top Contributors to 527 Committees, 2004 Election Cycle
These are the organizations that have contributed the most money to 527 groups that filed disclosure reports with the IRS. Unlimited soft money contributions to 527s may come from the treasuries of corporations and labor unions, which cannot give money directly to federal candidates and parties.

* Joint Victory Campaign 2004 is a joint fund-raising committee run by America Coming Together and the Media Fund. Money raised by JVC is divided between these two beneficiaries. Combining receipts for these three groups would result in double-counting.

There is only 1, Carl Lindner, who has donated to a 527 that could be considered Bush/Republican-leaning. All of the rest on the list are all leftist/anti-Bush/demoCRAP-leaning.
I thought I read on FR that Jane Fonda had donated 13 million to MoveOn.

Looks to me the only Republican donor is Carl Lindner.
bump for saturday
I'm sure he's evil. If he's from Texas then I know he is.
OK, that's all for now. It's kind of a pain in the butt to cut and paste these, though Firefox makes it easier than I.
But you can click on them yourself and see that the vast majority are liberal donors.
I'm sure it's a legalization group.

You provide us a good notice of who to not do business with. My list is small but growing.
Let's see, here's what I'm seeing:

Thank God for USAA. Been a member since 1984. Bet a few swifties are members too.
No wonder kerry is endorsed by the communist party
Have you seen this?
Has anyone correlated thses names with the names of the folks that Willie sold pardons to?
No!
6 million from the top 5 donated to Moveon.com
Can SOMEONE PLEASE explain to me why the RNC aren't making this WELL KNOWN?
Karl.. get off your arse!
I have Progressive, too. Not after next Monday. I don't care if the competitor costs more. They will feel pain over this.
great point. I quit buying Levis for the similar reasons(anti-gun fruitcakes).
I have to find a new insurance company for my cycle.
Depends on your state. USAA is a great company.
I checked each of those donors this morning and only Carl Lindner and Paul Singer contribute to Republican groups.
LOL Great Idea. I had my kids cancel their insurance with this wacko outfit back in 2000. I live near Cleveland and hear all kinds of rotton stuff about this guy.
It looks like 10 of the top 11 are Dems.
3 cars and 1 motorcycle, will be buying elsewhere ASAP.
See ya Pete
LOL.... Your creation?
