If you're running IE6, it won't work.

I was able to get it working,,,, but I don't remember what I did.... With Firefox I have the same capability plus a lot more....

Yes, I made the changes and got it to work.

Still not as easy as I hoped for but it works. :)

Its weird... when I use frontpage and dump the html into my new thread post and preview it, the images don't show up

you should paste the code not the text.

Its weird... when I use frontpage and dump the html into my new thread post and preview it, the images don't show up.

Try this:  In MS Frontpage go to Insert>Picture>From File.  Cancel the first 'Select File' box and then past the URL in the remaining box that you have already conveniently copied 'n pasted by right clicking on any image online and selecting 'properties.'  This way the image is already embedded into FP HTML (on the fly) and you will avoid the dreaded red X from servers that don't allow remote linking.

Then hit the HTML tab at the bottom and highlight the html you want to copy.  My images are 100% so far in the comments preview box.

I do the same thing. However, controlling font size and color is a pain!

I type the html raw into the "Your Reply" window, and 'preview' repeatedly, editing it until I get what I want.

Most of the time, I get what I want, but the cramped width of the "Your Reply" sometimes throws me a curve ball.

Mozilla has "Composer" built right in. And to this very moment, I have never used it because I just now figured out what it is. LOL

Does that method of composing/copying HTML on Outlook Express also work with Outlook?

Do you have MS Office ?

Good God man, have you ever looked at the HTML code produced when you save a .DOC file as HTML?

The amount of crap M$ puts in there is absurd.

Notepad is good, but if you want a WYSIWYG, then use the composer included with Netscape. Its free and easy.

OpenOffice is another option.
