Dear Dr. Zin
I appreciate all your efforts. However, my main concern is that some in the US administration speak of reformists, or some shape of IR with probably changes in its constitution etc.
So far I am disappointed with the way the Americans have pursued their campaign for democracy in the Middle East. In Afghanistan, instead of establishing a secular democracy elements of Islam has been introduced in their government. In Iraq too, when thousands of Iraqi women came out in protest in what was addressed as having had more freedom for women under Saddam than the new laws where Sharia may even be introduced!
I hope the US administration. Republican or Democrats realize that we Iranians need a secular democracy. Though we are well aware that all depends on Iranian people! But we would appreciate if the US backs us up and not those who try to change their faces, spend hundreds of thousands of US $ and are campaigning to project a milder version of the IR to the world.
IR has to be eradicated. A secular democracy established and for centuries to come no Iranian should forget the atrocities of this Islamic Republic. The world nations too should become familiar, just as in the case of Nazi Germany, with the Islamic-Nazi system that we have suffered under, in the past quarter of a century.
Once again, I thank you for all your efforts.
