Oh yes they will hate it because Bush going their will take away from Kerry's whining about Swift Boat. HEH HEH! They are always accusing Bush of distracting the Media from them. Boy is this going to be a distraction if he goes! Whooo hooo!

Ahhh...the ole "I'm planning a trip" scenario. Let's see, the Prez goes to FL after Hurricane Charley, and Lurch says he won't go because it will cause a distraction. So what happens? Lurch flies down there anyway. Could this be yet another bait for Lurch? Stay tuned.

Why don't we post this secret on Free Republic?
I think it would be great for President Bush to attend the Olympics. God knows nobody else is showing up to sit in the empty available seats there!
There is no way that this is a secret on the order of the trip to Baghdad last Thanksgiving.
I think that such a visit would be (as we say in Massachusetts) Pissa!

I bet the President would leave JFnK in the dust in the track competition.
To: areafiftyone
Big mistake. This sounds like a REAL risky idea.

Why would Bush go somewhere where he is almost guaranteed to be greeted with boos?

Probably means 'Bush left Olympics (stardate - 8) hours ago'.
Good. I'm glad he went.

He's not going anywhere. He would be booed no matter where he went. The Iraqi team doesn't want anything to do with him and the American public would never forgive him if he went only to see the Iraqis play.
Drudge was fed some bad junk.

This is just the beginning. Bush & Co. haven't even begun the fight. It's only going to get better.

"Will he compete?"Of course he is. The USA Basketball Coach heard that he has a great outside shot. Coach figures he can't do any worse than what they have.

Thanks a lot, Drudge. You loud mouth. It was leaked. If they didn't want Drudge to know he wouldn't.
It was probably leaked Saturday night for the Sunday political shows.
To: paul544
Probably so. Maybe its just a story fed to Drudge to make the dems mess their pants.

They would not want Kerry there because right now it appears that he has absolutely no shot!
