You might notice something missing from Hardball With Chris Matthews soon: Republicans. " Hardball may seem more like badminton during the Republican National Convention," threatens a GOP insider. What's up? The GOP thinks Matthews has gone over to Sen. John Kerry 's side and is too critical of the Bush campaign's editing of a Hardball interview with Kerry posted on the party's negative site, www.kerryoniraq.com. As payback, they've stopped urging Republicans to appear on the show. Hardball executive producer Tammy Haddad dismisses charges Matthews is biased: "We beat everybody up." So far, nobody from the White House has told her of the show's being blackballed.
Put him in the Janitor's closet with no windows and a 40 watt lightbulb.
Let Matthews play with his fellow liberals, he shouts over and filibusters Republicans anyway. I once had a slight interest in his show, but his shows with the WTC widows just ended it for me. I can't take the bias, he can, as his goddess Teresa would say, "Shove it."
Hanoi John "Sissy" pitch to the Dems.
Hardballs to the right.
I would not come on his show unless I would be allowed to spit on him (WFB, jr.).
Who says we're waiting til the RNC?
And WiffleBalls to the left..!
Matthews, on the other hand, is an impolite boor, and it may not be a bad idea to place a pie in his fat, arrogant face. Matthews has about as much polish as a thousand year old piece of rusty pig iron.
Long overdue. At least when Carville's ranting at guests he's not piously pretending to be objective. Matthews' treatment of Malkin was nothing short of vile. If he wants to have a nice friendly left-wing propaganda show, fine and dandy. Nobody to the right of center should deign to appear on it.
It would be great if we could FREEP Chrissy Matthews live on air. He would probably do his show with a backdrop of people. We just need some people to show up there.
You're right. Those sycophantic shows put me over the edge. I thought Matthews was getting sexually aroused over the attractive, private school looks of Kristin Breitweiser. I was waiting for him to ask her out to dinner, so he could spit through the main course.
That was it for me. No more Matthews.
LOL, if you want to watch programs to "take your medicine," feel free. I have better things to do with my time. Btw, I don't watch any of those shows you mentioned, either, I hate shouting people in general. Matthews just happens to be the worst of the lot.
Looks like we got another live troll....
coordinates: Chrissy Hissy Mathews closet.
Yeah, like this:
MATTHEWS (to Kerry): Do you think this administration and its political handlers like Karl Rove are capable of realizing they cant beat you on the jobs issue, they cant beat you on foreign policy, so they are going to drop this nonsensical stuff?
Read the rest of the single most softball puff-piece interview I have EVER IN MY LIFE read here:
Seriously. I've never seen anything like it. I only gave one quote, but that's because if I wanted to show you every question from that interview that boils down to "Senator Kerry, why are you so adorably wonderful and why is Bush such a complete bastard?", well, I'd have to reprint the entire interview.
Oh, alright, here's a couple more:
MATTHEWS: Do you think the people around the president have hoisted themselves on their own petard by bringing up this issue of your service?
KERRY: Thats up to the American people to decide.
MATTHEWS: Is it relevant that you served in combat and faced enemy fire and the president of the United States did not? Is that a relevant fact, when picking a commander in chief for the next four years?
MATTHEWS: The president of the United States was asked by the press the other day if hed ever made any mistakes as president. And he said he hadnt. What do you think of that answer?
Damn, Chris, stop beating on poor Kerry so bad, and stop putting words in his mouth, you big meanie!
You -really- gotta read the whole thing to understand just how much Kerry-flavored internal bodily fluids and solids Matthews had to be gulping down by the end of this interview.
I always boycott Matthews.
Perfect guest for Mathews: "Jumpin" Jim Jeffords...
Made for each other.
If Matthews is "medicine," I think I'd be looking for a new pharmacy. I don't like shoutfests either. That's why I like Hugh Hewitt.
I wish we could count on a REAL boycott!!!
That would RUIN Matthews, cuase he can't play "hardball" and spit on the democrat commies he loves.
He is desperately trying to copy Oreilly to get ratings by the hammering thing. (more intense than beofre)
Imagine how dull his show and how fast it would die if he had no back and forth, only libs, no fighting or argument, Hahaha, I would love to see that day!
Does anyone know if watching thru satellite t.v. gets them ratings?
